ATTF: Three sentences of awesome.
Hello dearest bar! I'm steering the ATTF ship today, and I've seen this going around in a few other places, so I thought we could try it here. Welcome to the first ever [livejournal.com profile] be_compromised Impromptu Three-Sentence Ficathon.

Yep. Three sentences. A fic. Or meta. Or whatever. You can post your three-sentence works of art in to ways: wait for someone to prompt something in the comments below and write a response to it or just come up with your own three-sentence fic/meta idea from scratch. Or do something else I haven't even thought of yet (it's early; I still need coffee). Just bring all the prompts--- and all fic and meta (in a three-sentence form).

We can all pitch in! Writers write! Non writers prompt! Everyone bring your own brand of polite anarchy!

The only things we require: post a rating in the header, and list any applicable warnings (or say chose not to warn). That's it. Go forth and have fun. <3

And Happy Friday. :)

And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
“So a god, an American icon, and an assassin walk into a bar—”

“Wait, wait, wait, this joke is misleading—we have two assassins, and the jury’s still out on whether Thor actually qualifies for god status, and can a man still be considered an icon when I know for a fact he’ll eat fried bologna sandwiches with every meal if you let him—”

“—and then an idiot in a mechanized tin can followed them into the bar and ruined the joke.”

Re: And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
Perfection.

One question though. Who let the Russian ducks into the bar? Should someone call the health department? ;-)

Re: And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
We would, but these ducks have the health department in their pockets (vodka bribes, mostly). ;)

Re: And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
Proving once again that there's no bar to an assassin's willingness to duck responsibility.

Re: And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
Not gonna lie, I read that as "duck responsibly," and I was like, "You know, that's probably the one thing Clint does responsibly.

Re: And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
Duck? You sure you don't mean the Other Thing? Wait. Don't answer that. Might lose our PG rating ... *Clucks*

Shouldn't that be *quacks*? ;)

Re: And the Russian ducks. No warnings, PG.
Too chicken for a PG-rated thread. Might beak too early. :-)

Now, Alpha, do be sensible, a conversation like this might make some people quail.

Stop egging me on, then, Frea darlin'! :-)

It could be worse though -- Tony Stork robin the gullible by hawking absolution for the cardinal sin of parroting some very old puns.
