I suppose the Hawkeye cameo we all want so badly will remain classified ...?

No idea. But a cameo is usually just one day of filming (which is easy to fit into the schedule), so I still have hope!

As much as I look forward to more Natasha, poor Sharon Carter. I really hope she doesn't get sidelined, we need more female characters in prominent roles!

I was really sad that we didn't get to see more of Peggy in the first movie. She had spunk! So I'm happy that we'll get a little bit more of her in this movie, even if it does end up being flashbacks.

And agreed, we need more prominent female characters!

Glad we're apparently getting some Sharon Carter, Maria Hill, Peggy Carter, AND Natasha in the film though, more ladies <3 probably with limited screen time, but more ladies is an improvement. Add Sam Wilson and Fury and this film could have the more representative cast so far. (If I look away from the fact that the two main leads will be Steve and Bucky. But still. Up to now Thor has the best track record.)

yeah, I'm of the 'more women characters, the better, even if they're smaller roles' because it's IMPORTANT that we see women characters on the screen, dammit! And a Beschel test that passes would be even BETTER. (ie, we need to see Maria and Natasha actually having a conversation in A2, dammit!)

That was my thought. It's good to see the female characters getting some attention and showing that yes, females can be badass too without needing to be a love interest.

I'm always tentatively squeeful about movies. It's easier to enjoy a movie when you go in with low expectations. =P

Having said that, any appearance by the Widow is sure to make me squee in the movies! *does HappyDance around the living room*

Wondering how they're going to be fair to The Falcon, Sharon Carter, The Winter Solider, Cap, Fury AND the Black Widow all in one movie though. It's like another Avengers movie almost with all the awesome characters running around.

I dunno, but Marvel has been doing a pretty decent job with their movies lately. *iz cautiously optimistic*

I'm also cautiously optimistic. Cap is actually the movie I'm most excited about for this phase, until Avengers 2 at least.

Tentatively optimistic here, for reasons!

My sympathies. I'm just back to the office after having a ninja cold sneak up and attack me last week. Friday only one guy showed up for our team meeting because the rest of the team was home sick. =P

I am so happy to see a bigger role for Natasha! Like we haven't gotten to see too much of her or Clint in the movie verse so I look forward to seeing them evolve in that canon. Also this makes me happy because the superheroes are mixing around now that they have met, which I wasn't sure if they were going to do after the Avengers.
