Oh, French braids, for sure. I used to wear them all the time and my dad would call me Klingon (my parents are such loving individuals). I'm imagining all sorts of fun oaths for Steve to shout, depending on exactly what he walks in on. Muhahaha.

So, dancing: Clint and Natasha doing the Charleston by Lufu, the tango by blue/hoursago, and Gangham style by kanapy.

Have more of kanapy's pretty artwork: Clint and Natasha that time during Iron Man 2 and Thor when they met, and a quiet moment, and having a hug.

And then I'll just lower the tone by also leaving kanapy's shirtless Renner from the Saturday Night Live standoff here and uuuhshiny's artistic nude Clint (nsfw) *whistles innocently*.

And the_yellow_ranger's it's raining men that never fails to amuse me :)

So I totally didn't really understand the promptathon (I didn't realize it actually would prompt fic to such a degree!)...but I am loving all the great fic that is coming out of it!

Oh dear, where did we lose you? :S (So we know what to do next time to explain things better. Can't always see the woods for the trees when you've been on a particular online platform for a while, meh.)

I didn't realize it would actually be prompts that people would write about...like I thought it was just a general "I would love to see this happen in a fic". I had no idea it would be so massive.

Like if there was a thread discussing what we would want to see happen in Avengers 2, for example, you know? That it was just the regular Friday discussion thread. Does that make sense? But now I know for the next one!

Awww :D Yep, discussion threads are discussions, promptathons are where people leave prompts and others fill them, comment-a-thons are where people write little fills usually to prompts that would fit in a comment, um, what else... exchanges are where you leave something you'd like to see in a fic and someone makes a gift for you but in exchange you're matched up to make something for someone else and no one knows who's been matched with who until the end. Big Bangs are where people are challenged to write at least 10,000 words and then artists are assigned to them to make stuff for their fics, mini big bangs are the same but the fic count is smaller usually 5,000 words. Um, I think that covers a lot of the stuff that happens on LJ. Anyone else think of anything else???

Aww, nah, just one thing at a time, and there's always loads of help on how to do stuff, and we don't do all of those here anyhow (thank goodness, or we'd be so, so very busy lol). So you should dive into stuff and enjoy. Not that there's anything wrong with diving into cheerleading either, cheerleaders are also loved :)

So -- here we've all been squeeing over (a) That Arrow Necklace and (b) the prospect of Avengers 2 having more of our assassins in it. They usually set these things up a bit, don't they?

So -- since it's only been 48 hours since promptathon ended, here's a post-promptathon prompt: "Write the Cap2 post-credit scene".

(Maybe this could be a topic for a future ATTF ...? Just sayin' ...) In the meantime, here's the fill too:

The IATSE and SAG signs scroll by. Screen lights up again; some squeeing from the audience ("see, I told you there'd be more!!!").

.....

Black Widow limps up the stairs and lets herself into her apartment. An arrow whizzes by her head, embedding itself in the doorframe. She doesn't blink, but turns around, a smile in her eyes and her lips curling slightly.

"You're back. Have a good time?"

Camera focused on a slightly bandaged Hawkeye, unfurling himself from the shadows on a black leather couch.

"Okay. The bots were a bit of a pain, getting smarter as you shoot them. Someone really needs to keep a lid on Stark and his inventions. Guy doesn't know when to stop. Heard you were busy, too."

BW shrugs.

"Yeah, but we managed. Had fun slugging Sitwell though. In time, I'm sure he'll forgive me."

"Maybe not quite yet. He told me about you kissing Cap. Anything I should know?"

She goes up to him, gets deep into his personal space and puts her arms around his neck and threads her fingers through his hair.

"Pure self-preservation, that kiss. Anything to get the bad guys off our tail. Although ... you WERE gone a long time."

He looks down at her neckline, reaches out with a calloused finger.

"Nice necklace."

"That's what Cap said."

They kiss.

Screen fades to black, followed by a the sign: "Avengers 2: The Age of Ultron. Coming May 2015"

Arrow necklace? What have I missed?

Ohhh ... Let me enlighten and delight you!! :-). A few weeks back the first set pictures from Captain America 2 emerged, and in them Black Widow is wearing a gold necklace with a teeny arrow pendant ... :-D needless to say Clint/Natasha shippers went nuts (including this one) and there's a dozen or so fics about this already, including by members of this Honourable Bar. I'm still on Blackberry so I can't link you, but if you google "Captain America 2" and "arrow necklace" you should get hits on the images. :-)

Oh, awesome! I am now joining the overexcited crowd, especially with the new info on Avengers 2.
