This seems like it's far too early to be asking about this, but this time last year we were already doing requests! So, would anyone be interested in doing a Secret Santa exchange type thing again this year?

For anyone who hasn't done this kind of thing before, an exchange is where you sign up with ideas for what kind of gift you like and what kind of gift you'd like to give, then everyone gets a gift and makes a gift, and it's all anonymous until reveals at the end. Here's the Masterlist from last year for an idea of what we got up to.

Here's the basics of how this year might work at the moment:

Tentative timeline is sign ups/requests from Monday 7th October to Sunday 13th October, assignments given the following week (hopefully completely done by the 16th), and an eventual deadline of late-ish December (with check ins along the way) with posting starting December 24th.

Gifts to be a minimum of an 1000 word fic or the art equivalent, so a drawing/painting, a vid, a fanmix, a wallpaper, or 10 icons for example. Gift baskets can be done, as in a mix of everything, and you can actually write or make as much as want, but that would be the minimum we'd be looking at and you don't need to make more.

What we're looking for at the moment is if anyone is interested in taking part, if anyone would be interested in pinch hitting, if anyone would be willing to beta read, if anyone would be interested in joining a banner making or graphics team similar to last year, if anyone would like to cheerlead...basically if it's worth us doing, if you'd like us to do it, and if anyone would like to help out in any capacity :)

To give you an idea of where the organisation stands at the moment your mods are okay to do the assignments, posting, and general organising, because some of us wouldn't be able to participate in the actual exchange anyway. Help with organising, however, and volunteers in case we need back up would be welcome. If you'd like banners and graphics along the lines of last year help is most definitely required, both to make banners and graphics and to help organise said team of creative people. And depending on how involved cheerleaders would like to be...we have some ideas on that front too. And suggestions and ideas are always welcome! Just, if you want it, we're gonna need the help to do it :)
