Loki was awesome in this film. Hiddleston acted the shit out of this movie, totally stole the show. I thought it was gorgeous, visually, had me laughing at the right parts (oh man, Steve Rogers, forever forever forever), and was truly fun. (And I loved the Winter Soldier trailer!)

I can't decide what bothered me more: Natalie Portman (one of my first crushes, and I honestly never thought I was going to say I didn't like her in a film) or Jane Foster. Separate events.

1. Jane felt like the only character in the film who didn't get an arc. She was a plot point. She was used solely as a character propping up a plot instead of a character driving a plot, a character within a plot, etc. That really irritated me.

2. Parts of Asgard felt a LOT like the new Star Wars films in which Portman was involved (I mean, think of the fighter pilot fights, Thor losing an arm (kinda), and her costuming). The whole time I thought Asgard was like a SLIGHTLY better casted/better set/better costuming/better scripted version of Star Wars Eps I, II, and III on Nabo.
