I started to read this when you posted the first chapter, and then I realized it would require (and deserve) more of my attention than I can give it right now, what with a professional vortex swirling over my head, three stories with a deadline to write, Christmas preparations, and all that. I will hunker down with it over the holidays in front of the fireplace, mug of mulled wine in hand, and savour every word.
