So I have a lot to say, because I am - no freakin' lie - a Drama teacher. Yeah. I teach high school drama and have taught either that or middle school drama for 12 years now. That, and Clint and Natasha are #1 are on my 'ship list right now. That makes me a Drama who reads and writes fanfiction. And one of my best friends is my assistant Drama coach who teaches English using Supernatural and Smallville.

First of all, I adore the characterizations in this. Insanely well done. Second, it was kind of like walking into my own theatre, because, well, theatre's like that. I have a couple of students that call me mom b/c, well, you wrote the fic, you know why. So putting the Avengers in a theatre - wow, let's just say that I liked it. :D

I'm rambling. And I was an actor in high school who discovered stage management in college (I majored in Theatre Ed), btw. I loved this. Fabulous job. :D

Re: This story
I started on drama in middle school, was props/set in high school until I get given SM my senior year, and went on to get my BA in technical theatre, after which I SMed with a company that my old HS teacher founded.

I was literally driving from work (non theatre related these days) when I started thinking about Steve as a stage manager - he has all the combat training and leadership he'd ever need, right? And from there it just exploded into my brain.

I adore all the comments I'm getting from people who were theatre people or are theatre people, because the experiences are so universal. Thank you for reading, and I'm so glad it spoke to you. :)
