- The first time they met
- Agent Barton was sent to kill me. He made a different call: Three months after bringing in the Black Widow, Agent Barton is staring deep into a glass of scotch and asking himself, "What the hell was I thinking?"
- Five times Natasha drove Clint to drink, and one time she got tipsy.
- Natasha was the first to acknowledge/realize her feelings.
- Some good old-fashioned Clint whump. Natasha takes care of him.
- Either one or both of them thinks that all of this UST is getting in the way of them doing their jobs. So they do something about it...and it doesn't end quite as neatly as they hoped.
- Soulmates. An AU world where soulmates is a thing. They are surprised, to put it mildly.
- Reincarnation.
- Clint and Natasha ask one or more of the Avengers to babysit so they can go out for a romantic Valentine's dinner.
- Alternate meeting or straight AU. Natasha pickpockets Clint, and manages to steal his heart as well.
- Valentines Day is a celebration of love, and for Clint and Natasha, love means more than romantic love.
- Clint over thinks his Valentine's Day present. A third party steps in to give him some advice. +1 for 3rd character POV.
- Good things come to those who wait: they tease and wind each other up (or one teases the other), and it's teasing because they're on a mission right now and can't do anything about it. But once said mission is over...
- Leather and lace.
- Clint buys Natasha a toy for Valentine's Day. Natasha isn't sure what this is supposed to mean. Clint just wants to play.
- Natasha knows all about seduction, how to woo men and make them do what they want. But she doesn't know how to go about getting just a hug or some cuddle time.
- There aren't any fraternisation rules at SHIELD, but it's a given that you're not supposed to take the mick. Agents are meant to be professionals after all.
- After the debacle of the Giant Bunny Rabbit Tony bought Pepper for Christmas, Tony goes to Clint for Valentine's Day present advice.
- In the aftermath of a mission where one (or both) of them nearly dies, Clint and Natasha realize that they can't live without each other.
- Clint dressed as Cupid

- Clint kinda loves it when Natasha sits in his lap.
- Nick Fury is very protective of Nat. And is side-eyeing his best sniper, who has a history of epic fails of relationships.
- Serenade
- Ballet AU: Natasha is the new prima ballerina at the Mariinsky Ballet (or Bolshoi Ballet, either one)...
- Natasha has celebrated Valentine's Day before -- with targets she was planning to seduce and kill. Faced with a real, sincere Valentine's with Clint, she has no idea what to do.
- Fake!Married.
- Writing, poetry, these have never been Natasha's strong suits - but she will find the words to tell him what he means, in time.
- If all is fair in love and war / I haven’t seen the score
- Clint and Natasha are slow-dancing as part of a cover, and Clint's bored of the standard jazz playing. So instead HE starts singing to Natasha. +1 if Coulson's listening in on comms and makes a song request +1 If Clint sings Elvis
- ALL love is important and meaningful. Write something about Clint and Natasha as a couple, and someone else they love in a different way. (kid!fic is not allowed simply because it’s too obvious)
- Suppose Valentine’s day occurred during Captain America 2?
- Clint and Natasha both think Valentine’s day is overrated; it’s how you act towards your partner every day that counts.
- Clint and Natasha both think Valentine’s day is overrated take 2: prank war among the Avengers during V-Day with a ‘lovey-dovey’ theme.
- Clint is determined to take Natasha out on a proper first date. Of course, this doesn't go according to plan.
- coffee shop/bakery/restaurant AU: he/she fell in love with his/her coffee/baking/food first.
- Write (or graphics!) a card or postcard, or a gift or token, that Clint and Natasha might (or might start) exchanging.
- Natasha has to learn about 'like' before she learns about 'love'
- Fraction!verse Hawkeye (and the new Black Widow comics?) They have an avoiding-traditional-holidays traditional of hanging out at Clint's place
- From an outsider(s) pov -- Clint and Natasha and 5 public displays of affection.
- Clint knows it's love when Natasha makes space in her weapons vault for his bow.
- Clint noticed the little changes, but it wasn't until Liho showed up that he realized Natasha had moved in.
- Whisper a dangerous secret to someone you care about. Now they have the power to destroy you, but they won’t. This is what love is.

- Clint felt a surge of ... something ancient and primeval, the moment [Igor Ilyich Berdenko's/Steve Rogers' -- take your pick] lips touched Natasha's collar bone. Of course, the timing could have been better.

- How does their lovemaking change when Clint loses his hearing? Or does it change at all?
