A Character Choice...  
Hello everyone!

I'm a long time lurker, and a rare poster due to graduate school, but I thought you would enjoy checking out this link regarding some fun facts about Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I must say to certainly make a point to read #15 - as it explains a bit about a certain token we have seen many photos of in the past few months!

As always, the article is regarding the recent release, so if you haven't seen the movie yet: 1) Go see it! and 2) there are SPOILERS!

Well, Jeremy Renner has a contract for way more movies than he's been in so far. SO, I'm thinking, if Joss DOES joss him, the comic arc has him not actually be dead but going Ronin, so.

Do we actually know about Renner's contract? I've always wondered that but I haven't seen anything.

I don't know anything official but I'm sure its at least a 6 picture deal...I don't think Marvel would settle for anyting less. But just b/c they have them under contract doesn't mean they will for sure use them...but I think they will with JR. He is a pretty big name and playing a pretty big character.

Thank you for de-lurking in such spectacular fashion! I had seen #15 somewhere else (some blogger selling it as their own bit of journalism) but having all of these together, from a reputable source, is pure bliss. :-)

Glad to! I don't get to often due to grad school and preparing to become an attorney (which just adds ethical constraints so it is sometimes best to lay low), but this was too good to pass up!

I am an attorney, albeit with a single client and currently in a non-legal position. Not sure what ethical constraints there are in fan fic, as long as you don't comment on clients' cases or otherwise advocate things that could get you disbarred ... ;-) (Happy to discuss via PM)

I guess you could interpret it in different ways but we thought it would be nice to have something that was a little bit personal for the Widow. You kind of forget, because she’s such a badass, you kind of forget that she’s still a woman and that she has her interpersonal relationships in life outside of work.”
