I AM PRETTY SURE THIS MOVIE RUINED MY SOUL. There are really only two things I wish they would've done, which is have a little bit of background on Bucky/Nat (yes, that's my other ship and I love it okay no one judge) but I understand why the MCU is probably not going this route because it would be hella complicated. And like everyone, I wish that they would've at least had one throwaway line about Clint, if only because they managed to do that for every other Avengers. But, then again, ARROW NECKLACE SPEAKING VOLUMES and also I like that there's so much headcanon now to play with on that front :)

ANYWAY I just loved everything about this film. My favorite scene in life was the whole Steve/Nat roadtrip and the bunker and the scene in Sam's bedroom because FEELINGS. And just so many feelings about Sam and Maria and Steve and Bucky in general and I'm going a third time this weekend and maybe I can compose my feelings beyond FLAIL SQUEE.

And I need new WS icons...

Its totally okay to have conflicting ships. I ship Nat with other people sometimes myself, though I don't personally ship her with Bucky.

I have so many multiships in Marvel, I kind of hate them for making me so crazy lol. Anyway, I just always feel so paranoid saying that I ship her with Bucky because of all the Clintasha feels, but it's for totally different reasons. And Clintasha is still my primary #1 ship, so. :)

I mostly just didn't care about Bucky until this movie. And then this movie gave me Steve/Bucky feels. So I'm not into Bucky/Nat, at least not yet. But Clintasha is my primary Nat ship too (but I've read some good fics with her with Thor, Steve, Tony, and Bruce because I mostly really like Nat-centric fics).

I HAVE SO MANY STEVE/BUCKY FEELS. I always loved their friendship and was affected by it and had read some fics, so I knew how this movie was going to kill me but I didn't realize how much. I basically came out of it with all the Steve/Bucky feels oops.

Oh, me too. My plans this weekend involve reading all the hurt/comfort Steve/Bucky fics. I need them badly. Resisting the urge to search for fics right now since I have a paper due in 3 hours. But its tempting.

So many ships! I just kinda want fic/ art where Natasha is followed around by her adoring harem of Clint, Sam and Bucky.

(Also, I'm kind of into Sam/ Steve, which is weird, because slash isn't really my thing.)

I don't know anything about Bucky/Nat but all I know is in this movie, Bucky wasn't in any shape to be in any relationship with anyone at all. Hot mess baby boy. He will find his footing again but might take a few years...like around Cap 3? haha.

But then I think Nat was like that in the beginning too. I don't know what Clint is like in the MCU very much but my impression is that he is a bit more...solid? Older, maybe a bit more level-headed than some of the other characters. We shall see. Maybe he is a hot mess too. But I kinda feel like he is very good for Nat who is still trying to figure out her way.

I wasn't into Bucky/Nat at all until I started reading comics and getting into Natasha's backstory. I guess it appeals to me because their comic relationship fits all the kinks of what I'm attracted to (messed up spies who have to fix each other and have brainwashing issues). But one of the things I love that has come out of this film is the headcanon/fic of having Clint be the solid one that has to fix Nat after all of this because she's been thrown into an identity crisis. Ugh. It kills me.

I know. I can't wait to see them in Avengers 2. I LOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEDDDD how we saw more of Nat in this one...I feel like I have a more solid basis of her character. I want to know more about clint and their relationship. "Only" 1 year to go!

I kind of liked that Clint wasn't mentioned, but was still present with the necklace. I think it fits their relationship, where it's just between them, and they don't say a lot with words. My friend didn't even notice the necklace! It was subtle, and that's why I liked it.

Haha, I leaned over and whispered 'Look at her necklace" to my sister. They may be subtle but I'm not!

Yeah the more I think about it the more I like that he wasn't mentioned, mostly because I've had time to sit and think about all the ways everyone can kill themselves with feelings speculation :) Also I love love LOVE that Scarlett came out and said the necklace was her decision. IT MAKES ME HAVE FEELINGS.

I love it when actors think deeply and care about their characters! It's also what turned me into a total Anthony Mackie fan. He's such a adorable fannish dork.

And apparently Scarlett Johansson also had a lot of input on the other clothes? In which case, I approve, because leather jackets :)

She did????? Oh yes, I approve too...leather jackets, leggings, boots...I'm tossing out my entire wardrobe and buying a Natasha wardrobe!
