Banner Challenge

We only had one banner entry for this month, so I was going to use that one, but the sizing didn't work :( Instead I'm using one of the unused banners from the last challenge set, by [livejournal.com profile] frea_o. People in the Southern Hemisphere, have a seasonally appropriate banner!

If anyone would like to contribute a banner to the community, because it is nice when we get a shiny new banner at the start of each month, just send them in to be_compromised@hotmail.com If we have more than one by the end of the month I'll do a vote/challenge. No theme, unless you feel inspired by the time of year.

A few rules...
1) Everyone is invited to play, seriously, everyone, give it go!
2) Banners must be safe for work.
3) Banners must have a width of 800 and a height of 350 and preferably be a png or jpg file.
4) If it comes to a vote we will make your banners anonymous, so please don’t tell or show anyone what you’ve made until the end of the start of the next month.
5) When new films etc come out please don’t use images that could be spoilers until general DVD release. (If you want to use something and you're not sure if it counts as a spoiler or not, PM me or email.)
6) Banners should contain both Clint and Natasha.

Love the new banner. I need to procure some raw images before I go graphic-ing again. It's been a while since I did anything but book covers and icons for just myself (meaning a very few at a time).

I freaked out when I saw the comm and got my works added pronto. :grins: But I'm trying to hold onto my other fanfics until after the remix exchange is over.

We have some shiny banner makers :D Me, I need to update my software and browswer, and I really, really don't want to have to find a cafe with decent internet and do that, but the images, I needs them.

Awww *grins*. I had a happy dance moment when I saw we had our own AO3 tag.

So -- I tagged my remix fic (posted last week) with "be compromised 2014 remix" or something like that. Should I just use be_compromised? And then, for all of them? The Secret Santa ones are already tagged separately ...

I would LOVE to do a banner. I even have two images I was going to size and merge. I tried. And tried. Last year, when I was sitting on my butt on med leave for 6 weeks, I managed. This time around I got frustrated trying how to figure out layering and gave up because time.

'Community: be_compromised' is a tag, and you could use that on any. When you post a new work you get the option to say if it's part of a collection/challenge, which is where you can put be_compromised remix exchange 2014 and then it'll show up in the collection. Amd if you want to add any other tags feel free :) If you take a look at the collection link ypu can see a few examples. Does that help?

I always wish for more time for sll the things I want to do, meh. And layering is a pain. Picmonkey makes it easier, butmy browser needs updating and won't let me use it at the moment, grr. If you do get the time would love to see what you come up with!

Ah, the new banner is gorgeous!

I have been so busy with work, training, and a new business venture that my be_compromised time has been nonexistent for a few weeks. I've missed you fabulous folks! Will try to get back on track and in the mix again. ...and, if anybody is willing to help me figure out what the hell I'm doing with the Marvel Big Bang, your aid and assistance is welcome and desperately needed. Seriously considering dropping out if I can't get my mind wrapped up in it over the long weekend. :-/ Thanks!
