(I'm also ever so slightly cheeky and I have a bit of a mouth on me and hyperbole is my BFF (and I also have a shocking love of large font, capslock and bright colors), but trust me when I say that the mockery is aimed entirely inward. Self-deprecation is totally an art form in my book--and a hobby too! :D)

But really, this place has been fantastic, and the people here are fantastic and welcoming and the fanwork is great and the source material... well hello. Just all around good times. :)

This comm is my home away from home. It's so so so nice to have people around who are the same kind of bonkers as you. Otherwise it would be so LONELY. I love Tumblr but it's not so much a community really.

Sooooooo nice. And I completely agree about tumblr. The pretty pictures are amazing--and omg, the 'renner' tag is a black hole from which escape sometimes seems impossible)--but sometimes you also need a place to chat and squee and discuss, and LJ is perfect for that.
