I am now armed with my Word doc with 26 prompts that I think I'd like to write. Two are things I have atually already started writing (shared fandom brains!) and one latched onto my my brain and just will not let go, and it was not a prompt I expected to do that to me lol. And there are so, so many that I will read the hell out of but would never be able to write.

Have to go back to work tomorrow. All I want to do is be at home, on my deck, writing fanfic. ALL the fanfic.

'I would rather be reading and writing' is pretty much my work moto. This probably does not bode well for my employment :S

There's one prompt that fits one of my WIPs perfectly, so I'm using it as motivation to finally get the fic done. There's another prompt that could also fit a WIP, but that WIP would turn out quite long, and I'm a slow writer... We'll see.

Twelve bookmarked, moved into the plotting phase with one of them (YOU KNOW WHICH ONE /glares) and there's a second one I'll try to get to if my marvel bang either gets done quickly or not at all. The others, maybe some day... XD

I case it's of interest: that thing's now 3k long -- about 700 words more than my RBB, btw, which is due on Monday -- and I have hardly gotten started. It has a title and two recruited first readers to help me figure it out and I really really do hate the two of you a little bit. :P

I'm the kinda writer who sometimes needs a village. /o\ Been spoiled in my old fandom, where I had no trouble finding two or three betas apiece, but now it's harder lol.

But yeah. That you'll get it is, shall we say, not unlikely. XD

All of my usual are buried in promptathon and big bang. :groans:

It's easier in an off-season. Even I'm buried in Promptathon and rarepair and ineedmyfics and a birthday fic and an original fic collaboration, so it's not like I can grouch without being hypocritical. :le sigh:

Heh, my problem is that I don't share a fandom with most of my usuals anymore. Switching main fandoms is so inconvenient at times.

And yeah, it's hard to complain when everyone's busy and it's understandable. I feel hypocritical a lot tho, anyway, since I'm ESL and that makes me hesitant to offer to 'beta back' as much as I'd like.

7 written and 20 more to go. I'm getting a sneaking suspicion I have an actual shot at finishing this list. As for finishing my rarepairfest assignments though...
