It was also my second, third, fourth and fifth thought. (Although TBH, there might have been a "HAWKEYE!!!!" in there somewhere.)

Can we talk about the shot of ballerinas and Natasha standing alone in an empty room and HELLO, ARE WE FINALLY GETTING TO SEE NATASHA'S BACKSTORY????

We better!!! I love that she is so mysterious and all but now we need to know WHY she is so mysterious!

Unpopular opinion here, but I kind of hope we don't really get her backstory because if we get it in Avengers 2 I feel like we have waaaay less chance of having a WHOLE Natasha movie for ourselves. And I need that. I NEED it.

Can I just say I love y'all's reaction to seeing Clint! You're my people. Because that was what I was looking for and excited about. Who cares about the Big Four? (I totally love all of them!) Clint and Natasha is where it's at.

I thought Clint gave a pretty badass look, like he'd just Done Something -- and that run was probably from explosions he had something to do with, too -- I was happy with the close-up. (Cap didn't get to much either, just Heroically Opened A Door, so.)

But can we talk about the eerie music???

EXACTLY. The supes in the team are great at all, but. CLINT AND NAT. :DDDD

I'm super-hyped now, but I have to say I was underwhelmed by Clint's (unless I saw a different trailer to everyone else!) part. I thought I'd heard that Clint did the voiceover, and that he had more to do in the trailer than in the entire Avengers movie...
I think I saw him a grand total of once? What gives?

Nope, I saw the same trailer you did lol. I was excited to see Clint but sad that he didn't do anything except run and look. I feel like everyone else did something totally badass in the trailer except him.

I've already seen the trailer (last night over on FB). But OMG, Icon LOVE!!! (seriously, it's perfect!)

The trailer they showed at SDCC was much longer (and included the party scene which has a lot of Clint) but I like that they had different shots and also some of the same shots in this one. I didn't really expect them to show much for a teaser trailer so I'm just happy we got the flashes that we did. The fact that we get Clint clearly being HAWKEYE? YES. I may have been WAY too happy over those few moments of clips and also NATASHA!!!

Fun fact: when I first saw this, the ballerina clips where in there and of course no one knew it was coming so I literally screamed and crushed my friend's hand in Hall H. She thought I was crazy but ballerinas = Natasha backstory maybe so yeah I'm gonna die. (I keep telling myself the trailer shots are never actually what we get but I really can't see any other reason for that one.)

Yes to all this. That was why my reaction to Clint. It wasn't the quantity, it was the quality.

There is one other possibility with Natasha, which is just her doing ballet in the movie as part of her character and hinting and leaving vague, which I totally hope they do not do. Backstory, peoples! Backstory!

Saw the trailer last night - AWESOME!

And the creepy music and "There are no strings on me" is still running thru my head.

Does someone have a capture of the wide view Tower shot -- I'd love to see just where in the room everyone was.

I'm so into that shot with the sun behind him. SO INTO IT. Still waiting for those lines he's supposedly actually going to have this time though. SHOW THEM TO ME, MARVEL. GIVE THEM TO MEEEEEE.

If we don't get at least some Nat backstory after that tease with the ballerinas I'm gonna riot and it won't be pretty.
