ATTF: Community Trick-or-Treating  
trick or treat

Happy (almost) Halloween, bar! It's been quite a week in fandom, hasn't it? This post will be the spot for your community Halloween party for the next week or so!

Last year a bunch of people did fandom trick-or-treating on their personal journals (here's mine, for an example) and it was so much fun that I decided to steal the meme.

So, here's how I'm going to adapt it for the community:

  • If you want to give out treats, reply to this post with the comment "My door is open" or something clear to that effect!

  • Your fellow bar patrons will then reply to your comment with "trick-or-treat"

  • You will provide some sort of treat (or trick, I suppose)! Treats can be anything you want--a picspam, a short comment fic, a compliment, or anything else that strikes your fancy!

  • There is no deadline for providing treats. You are also welcome to put a limit on how many things you're willing/able to fill.

  • Anyone can participate!

  • Out of consideration for your fellow bar patrons, please refrain from including Age of Ultron trailer spoilers. I know we're all excited, but this is going to be a busy post, and I'd hate to see the experience ruined for anyone.

Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

Clint straightened his bandages, real ones covering wounds from his last op mixing in with the fakes that Natasha had carefully wound around his head and arms to complete his mummy costume. He was unrecognizable, something he was grateful for. No one needed to know where two of the Avengers lived.

The doorbell rang and Natasha, the cutest sheet ghost he'd ever seen, picked up the nearly empty candy bowl while Clint opened the door.

“Trick or treat!” tiny voices yelled joyfully.

A tiny Black Widow and an even tinier Hawkeye were looking back at them. Clint's face split into a gigantic grin, Nat wished the little trick or treaters “Happy Halloween”, her voice telling him that she was grinning as well.

“So, how did this happen?” Dr. Rasanayagam asked as she prodded at the deep gash on Clint's right hand. Blood welled up sluggishly as she injected the local anesthetic.

He grinned sheepishly, the pain medication he'd received making the world around him foggy and wonderful.

“He tried to carve a pumpkin,” Natasha answered for him, exasperated.

“'T would have been awesome, too,” Clint slurred. “Can we go home now? I wanna finish it.”

Natasha took his chin in her hand and fixed him with a glare that made the Sri Lankan SHIELD doctor fear for her patient.

“No knifes for you. Ever. Again,” she hissed.

Clint just smiled at her adoringly, not even flinching when Dr. Rasanayagam sewed up his hand.

“I didn't do anything, there was a bright flash and suddenly...”

“Quack.” “Quack!”

The two ducks wore indignant expressions and the uniforms of Clint and Natasha. Duck-Clint poked Tony in the shin with an arrow, as if to say that he didn't believe a word out of his mouth.

“I think that means 'Fix this!'”

“Quack!” Duck-Nat stared at Tony accusingly.

“Damn, even as ducks they're intimidating... I'm on it, okay? Take a swim.”
