Because I just looked at my Avengers writing folder and realized that I have sixteen WiPs (not including the co-authored ones I'm working on with my partner-in-crime). Now, some of these more documents with ideas that may never get any further, but-

Sixteen.

So, I am declaring this a support post for flailing and ranting and capslocking and asking for help (be it just 'IS IT A GOOD IDEA, WHAT AM I DOING' or 'so, anyone know where I might find out how exorcisms are done in Russian Orthodoxy*') for everyone in the comm who may need it.

Because I can't be the only one suffering from an overly-active Clint/Natasha muse.

Right?

I want to do a MI4 crossover. You know how they ask Renner's character what his secret is? Well I want a fic where the team gets captured and the bad guys are terrified of Barton because they know who he is, and Nat rescues him, they kill everyone and the team just looks dumbfounded.

I was skeptical, because I'm not a Tom Cruise fan and I hadn't seen any of the other movies, but I gotta tell you... Renner walked up to Tom Cruise, took the movie out of his hands, and WALKED AWAY WITH IT. And Cruise was like, "I can't even do anything about this because your ass is so amazing, all I can do is stare at it."

At least, I'm assuming that's what happened.

I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, either, and neither have I seen the other movies at all. But, hey, it's Renner! And ahahahah, brilliant. My sister and I are planning to rent and to mock all the non-Renner bits.

I have to agree with Alli-- Renner steals the damn show. Watching it I kept wanting to yell "Move Tom Cruise!!! Move out of the way! Renner is standing there in the background being a bazillion times more compelling than you!" Just standing there--in the fucking background-- not doing a damn thing-- stealing the whole damn scene movie.

Gah. Highly Problematic, that man. Totally worth watching. ;)

I've just watched MI4 and yep, it is Renner's film. Pegg is also good, but Renner steals the show :D

AND YES, I would read this crossover. I would read the ever-loving Renner out of it, okay?!

I've secretly wanted to read a MI4/Avengers fic but didn't want to go site-diving to look for it. So you can guess how happy I am to see this! :D It sounds awesome.
