It's been almost a year, so time for another [livejournal.com profile] be_compromised friending meme!

Copy and paste this into a new comment to make friends with your fellow bar patrons. :)

Things to remember:

1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

ETA: Sorry about the wonky comment errors, everyone. Apparently LJ decided it didn't want to play nice with our custom CSS anymore. It should be fixed now, although it's less pretty.

Movieverse, Comicverse, or both? Both! Also various fusions. My approach to canon is to take what I like and ignore what I don't.

How many times have you seen Avengers? What about Winter Soldier?: I don't even know anymore, but I saw Winter Soldier 10 times in the theater and I will forever be proud of this achievement. :p

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: Well, I am a hurt/comfort fiend and have a thing for characters who struggle with emotional intimacy so...it was pretty much bound to happen. I did spend a year in denial after seeing the movie, though, and being generally terrified of jumping into a comics fandom.

Any other ships/fandoms you want to share?: Not currently.

What about C/N do you like best?: See above. Although also the snark.

Share your favorite head canon: Natasha is a troll to her friends. Sometimes with good intentions, sometimes just to mess with them.

Rec a fic, graphic, vid, meta, etc. and explain why you liked it.: I'm going to rec the amazing gift fic (http://archiveofourown.org/works/3177456/chapters/6902349) that [livejournal.com profile] scribble_myname wrote for me in the MCU ladies fic exchange. It features early SHIELD Natasha, brainwashing, and amazing platonic love. Seriously, go read it!

What should a potential new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ friend?:I'm kind of terrible about neglecting my LJ, but I'm trying to get better about that! I love people who enjoy discussing fun fandom things.

Friending policy?:As long as I know who you are, friend away!

Currently toward the top of my fics-to-write list is one about Natasha hacking Tony's "smart home" systems in the Tower. So, like, she makes sure his showers turn cold after ten seconds, lights turn on in the middle of the night, Dum-E goes traipsing through his bedroom at 3am, etc. Tony can't figure out who could be doing it, but meanwhile Clint and Steve are taking bets on how long it'll take him to catch on.
