How many times have you seen Avengers? What about Winter Soldier?: Enough that I will never not smile at least a little when I hear the word "compromised" in any situation; and enough that I think of Natasha Romanoff not Matthew Broderick when I hear "shall we play a game…"

What brings you to the Clint/Natasha ship?: I used to read lots of X Files fan fic back in the day and never thought there would be anything like that connection again. I read a little Tony/Pepper after the Iron Man craze, but still didn't realize what fan fic had become. Then Avengers happened. I fell in love with the entire movie, but especially our assassins and wondered if anybody else might feel the same way. I was shocked at what I found doing a google search. I stumbled into this bar quite by accident and have never left.


Any other ships/fandoms you want to share?: Tony/Pepper, Mulder & Scully


What about C/N do you like best?: They don't need words to express how they feel for each other. Entire conversations happen with body language and eye contact.


Share your favorite head canon: I am a fan of the slow burn, the situations that lead up to the "big" reveal.


Rec a fic, graphic, vid, meta, etc. and explain why you liked it.: Everyone involved with this bar writes amazing fics. I used to be anti-AU, but I was cured of that thanks to many of the patrons here. And honestly, anything (including the fun three-sentence fics) written by alphaflyer is a home run.


What should a potential new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ friend?: I'm a busy marketing professional/entrepreneur and I bring the average age of this site up a few years. I'm older than most here, but I try not to let it show. You'll only get the occasional "back in my day…" comments. ;) I don't update my personal LJ very much. I do, however, participate as much as possible here at the bar. And with A2:AoU on the horizon, I think this place is going to be very, very, busy.

Anything else you want to add?: Just a quick thanks to those who have made this a fun, friendly, safe, and creative space. I'm not tech savvy at all and appreciate everyone's patience and help throughout my (painfully slow) learning process here. Best bar ever.

And YES to the slow burn. Favourite trope -- how many fics can one person read about two fictional characters realizing they complete each other..? Hint: gazillions. (I actually have a fic called "Slow Burn" but it's in a different fandom altogether.)

You are welcome. It's so true -- your fics are entertaining, intelligent, and downright addicting. And the fact that you're close to my age -- and technical ability -- makes it even more fun to virtually hang out with you. ;-)
