Summary: The psych department or person assigned to Natasha when she joins SHIELD complains a lot about stupid things in Natasha's opinion, like the fact that her room/s at SHIELD/the hellicarrier aren't 'personlised'. Clint tries to help her out by sticking a poster up, a movie poster or something, Natasha retaliates, and then The Great Wall Covering War is on.

Okay, the one I want to recommend is *completely* escaping my mind right now, and I don't think it's in my bookmarks, although I'll go check again later. It has like 2000 kudos and is about the "six times the Avengers saved the world" or something to that fact. It includes the fabulous song "get the f*** along". LOL I'll look up my other favorites. You definitely hit some of the highlights here - I love The Map!

Ha, those times when you're frantically googling very random things because you know they're in a fic and you liked that fic, but google keeps giving you links to very not what you were looking for. I always saw Natasha as having a secret love for pranks, but only when nobody is expecting it. Like she will be stoic and uptight seeming, but if she sees the opportunity for mischief she will see it.

Me too!!! I think of her more of a prankster than Clint.

Same here -- and she totally gets away with it because nobody suspects it, like, ever. And Clint's dumbfounded because it's so obvious to him that she has a wicked sense of humor.

I think she'd like suprising people with that. Like when she flips Happy in IM2 and then later shows up as Black Widow to Tony's doughnut moment wiht Fury; that moment of throwing someone's expectations out.

I love all the Clint as prankster fics, but I wonder if really Clint's jokes would me more banter and dumb actions, wereas Natasha would plan.
