All The Things Friday: Food and Drink
Hello bar! Last time we talked about different places around the world. Today's ATTF is much closer to the stomach: Food and Drink.

What do Clint and Natasha like to eat and drink when they get the choice? Are there any dishes that bring back special memories for either of them? Any dishes either of them dislike? Do they cook? And does Clint really drink coffee straight out of the pot?

Get your creative thoughts a-brewing, patrons!

Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

I can never separate Clint from his straight from the pot drinking habit ever again. :sighs:

Well if he is going to drink the entire pot, why bother pouring it out in increments into a mug? ;)

Besides, dishes?? Who's got the time ...

I'll start: in my headcanon, Clint is a good, if experimental, cook. Sometimes his flavour combinations are brilliant, and other times... not so much. There was a string of cake construction failures after he watched The Great British Bake Off that one time.

Natasha loves to cook when she has the time. There is something soothing for her in the act of creating something nourishing.

I'll need some cake construction failure specifics please. ;)

Agree about Natasha. Now what happens when they cooking together???

Natasha still teases him about the collapsing beer-flavoured eclair tower. ;)

Brilliant! I can just imagine Clint's heartbroken face. Aw, tower.

Hope this is the right format!
Natasha's apartment in New York, unlike Clint's, is entirely off the grid. He is the only other 'superhero' to know of it's location, and one of only a few to know of it's existence. The interior is decorated in gentle blue and warms brown with cream accents, and there are a dozen knifes and sidearms at strategic locations in the living room alone.

It also has an extremely well-stocked kitchen.

When she is cooking alone, Natasha makes Russian food. The cuisine of her home country is pretty much the only part of her childhood that hasn't turned sour in retrospect. Clint loves her spanakopita, her recipe for sweetened kasha, and pirozhki in particular, which makes her enjoy cooking them even more.

When Clint visits for dinner, she will sometimes cede the floor to him. Clint doesn't have many good memories of food from his youth, and what he does remember he can't cook. He can make the best 40-minute baklava Natasha has ever had, along with tasty pão de queijo, and he can make any curry from sweet to screaming.

When they cook together, they only make a mess.

Oh, jeez, somewhere I have a half-finished fic (based on a prompt from this comm, I'm pretty sure) about Natasha and her relationship with cooking. Now I have to go find it...

Oh, yes. Do!!!

Clint doesn't really cook, unless you count coffee. That, he has down to a T! He heats up a mean pizza, though... But mainly, he lives off Chinese food from those handy boxes you don't have to wash -- bonus, you can play around with the chopsticks after.

Natasha's favourite food is caprese salad. All the major food groups in one (provided it's followed by dark chocolate).
