ATTF: Halloween Edition  


Happy Halloween folks and welcome to this super special and spooky Halloween edition of our current ATTF extravaganzas! We're bringing back last year's popular fandom trick-or-treat, so get ready, here's how it works:

- If you want to give out treats reply to this post with "MY DOOR IS OPEN" or something to that effect.

- Members of the bar wil then reply with "treat" for something sweet or fluffy, "trick" for something spooky or with dark edges, or of course "trick or treat"!

- You will then hand out your tricks and treats. These can be anything you want: comment fic, picspam, recs, a compliment, a sneak peak of something you're already working on, icons, gifs, anything, ALL THE THINGS, that strikes your fancy.

- There is no deadline for providing tricks and treats. You're welcome to put a limit on how many things you're willing/able to fill. You're welcome to ask for prompts or other soecifics from your trick-or-treaters.

-Anyone can join in!

The usual community rules apply and of course our things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

Trick or treat!

So you're getting a sneak peek/thing i mean to work on tangent.

Okay, so a while ago someone brought up the concept of Natasha being a rusalka to me and somehow I never made that connection. It latched onto my brain though and I am kind of in love with the idea.

She wants to be a part of a story that I already have in progress, the one in which there is Siren!Bucky, and I want her with Clint existing in the background watching Steve and Bucky fumbling to try and learn what the hell Bucky is and how to deal with it.

She wants a few snippets to herself too. I'm probably going to do a handful of side stories with her and Clint and her and the water and her relationship with both of these things and some muddling around with identity and all that good stuff. I just have to write it.

I'm pretty much pantsing the entire main fic, so her side stories are going to hopefully come when I manage to wrap that up and have it settled but who knows, I may cave and just write some of them now because I really, really love Rusalka!Nat to sad extents and I'm not even sure why.

There also wants to be extensive backstory wherein the Red Room is pulling drowned girls from the rivers and "giving them a second chance". The rusalka are manufactured in a way, though all the girls who are pulled from the banks were halfway to becoming rusalka already, the Red Room just kind of...interrupted the process and started fucking with them while the whole thing was taking place.

And yes, that's about all I have to say at the moment because it's late (early?) in my timezone and I should probably try and sleep and not ponder more on this.

Okay, but that's a great idea. I happen to be very picky with mythical AUs of any sort, but man this makes perfect sense and the way you talk about it sounds like you should definitely give if a go sooner rather than later. ;D Thanks for sharing it with me!
