ATTF: On Location with Clint and Natasha (and anyone else)
So, we haven't had one of these for a while.  But it's summer time, some of us are on holidays, even travelling (I'm at an airport, en route to Crete as I write this).  What better time to remember that Clint and Natasha have been virtually everywhere on the planet, doing good and killing bad guys?  Or even just relaxing and levelling out after the latest alien invasion or brain melt.

So, tell us about your favourite head canon:  Where do they go to relax?  What is their MOST or LEAST favourite place they've ever been on mission (and yes, Budapest counts)?  Why?

Have they ever been to your home town?  What would they find there?

Or meta for us.  What do you make of those tossed-off references, like Budapest?  "He's in Afghanistan."  That snippet from Abidjan on the computer.  What grabs you when people throw those into a fic?

Give us a prompt, a three-sentence fic, or rec us a story (or three).  And yes, self-recs are good!

And:

Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

For vacation? I like to picture them in Hawaii or on any beach, really. Bikini. Arms. Pretty people. Yeah. *g*
(Link to the start of fairly small portion of a much larger fic that pertains to Hawaii - http://archiveofourown.org/works/3258350/chapters/7570337)

I generally like them getting away from life at the farm (Mostly in the Land of Denial, of course. Though it's ok to recharge there in OT3 Land too! ;))

And thanks to a certain fic (possibly Alpha's?) that had them heading to a cabin in the woods after a bad mission regarding cults -- its wasn't even 'shippy! -- I kind of now have it in my head canon for where they go to get away from stuff and need to process and level out. Nobody else there but them.

(And since I live in the middle of Nowhere NH, yes, I do believe that cabin can be here-a-bouts in my hometown somewhere. Maybe I'll run into them at the grocery! heee)

Actually, yeah, that was mine -- Highway of Diamonds (http://archiveofourown.org/works/759841). The cabin was in Maine, but NH is a close second, so it's all yours! :-)

I think they might get bored at a beach? Of course, they may not stay there long enough. One look at each other in bathing suits, and they'd be like, "You sure we need to go out there? We could have a pretty good time right here in the room." "You're on. Where's that Do Not Disturb sign??"

Perhaps I need to write a fluffy Mary Sue about a woman and her kid encountering a couple of Avengers at the store...

Also, they'd totally get bored ON the beach. It's the not on the beach that is the important part! *g*

Nothing fictional is ever set in my area, unless it's a sad WWII piece, but I have been sitting here ready to pounce on an idea that will let me utilize my knowledge of German red tape and law for a little while now, what with CACW partly being set in Germany and involving an incarceration and property damage. It's just that none are forthcoming. :C

I love thinking of where our assassins go and I want to write more vacation type fic. Budapest is always fun, though. I love how fandom has SO MANY interpretations of Budapest and so many different head canons. I could read about it forever.
