Halloween Tricks & Treats!
Happy Halloween folks! Is three times a tradition? If it is then WELCOME TO THE BAR'S TRADITIONALLY HALLOWEEN PARTY! It's trick-or-treat time, and here's how it works:

- If you want to give out treats reply to this post with "MY DOOR IS OPEN"

- Members of the bar wil then reply with "treat" for something sweet or fluffy, "trick" for something spooky or with dark edges, or of course "trick or treat"!

- You will then hand out your tricks and treats. These can be anything you want: comment fic, three sentence fics, picspam, recs, a compliment, a sneak peak of something you're already working on, icons, gifs, anything, ALL THE THINGS, whatever strikes your fancy. You're welcome to ask for prompts or other specifics from your trick-or-treaters.

- There is no deadline for providing tricks and treats. You're welcome to put a limit on how many things you're willing/able to fill.

- Anyone can join in!

(THIS also amused me, but I can't find who to credit.)

The usual community rules apply and of course our things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

Trick or Treat!

The snow crunched under her feet as Natasha ran through the forest. She needed to get away, to find shelter before he found her.

Zig-zagging through the bare trees and tugging down the hat that hid her red hair, Natasha wondered how much farther it was to the safe house. Soon she neared the tree line and slowing down, in the distance saw the log cabin. "Almost there." she thought to herself while pulling out her gun and making sure it was ready; the exposed distance between here and the cabin would be perfect for an ambush.

And Clint liked his ambushes.

Taking a deep breath, the cold air as sharp as knives when it hit her lungs, Natasha stood and sprinted out into the open field. She was halfway across when the first arrow shot past her. Ducking, Natasha felt her feet slip and crashed to the ground-sliding a little across the hard packed snow. Scrambling up she whipped her body around, trying to see what direction the arrow had come from.

She heard the second arrow too late and winced as it embedded itself in her shoulder, stumbling back a few steps but managing to stay upright. "Come out and face me you coward!" she shouted while gripping her injured shoulder.

"Behind you."

Natasha whipped around and looked at Clint, his eyes the same inky black as they had been in Rome. Hesitating for only a second, she ripped out the arrow and lunged towards the man who used to be her friend, using the arrow as a makeshift knife and aiming for his heart. But Clint easily deflected the arrow and grabbed hold of Natasha's arm, twisting it and throwing her to the ground in a show of inhuman speed and strength.

Watching as Clint pulled out a knife, Natasha knew it was the end of the chase; the others had been hunted down long before this and she was the last one to have made it this far. As he raised the knife, she closed her eyes and silently forgave Clint for what he was about to do. "It's not his fault, it's the sickness."
