Welcome to the be_compromised annibirthday party post!

If you hail from Livejournal, welcome back, it's wonderful to see you here. If you're new to our community, from Dreamwidth and elsewhere, HELLO! Pull up a bar stool, have a read of our Welcome and Rules Post while we pour you a drink, and make yourself at home.

Today our community, as originally created on LJ, is 4 5 years old with 2,034 entries and an amazing 39,628 comments. That’s an incredible amount of promptathons, exchanges, challenges, discussions, and a HUGE outpouring of creativity, not to mention how positive, welcoming, friendly, and just plain awesome you all are. Today is also a new annibirthday of sorts for us as we move to Dreamwidth.

To get things started properly over here and to celebrate in true be_compromised fashion we're going to have ourselves a good old-fashioned getting-to-know-you community friending party post! Friend the new Dreamwidth version of the comm, find LJ friends on Dreamwidth or find ways of staying in touch, meet new friends, add each other as friends if you like or don't and just chat here instead, no pressure, just PARTY. Free drinks at the bar, grab yourselves a slice of cake, and for goodness’ sake be careful with the pass the parcel, someone probably put weaponry in there.

Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)
