A little non-AoU compliant Barton Farm fic It veered off a little more into all the couples rather than just Clint/Nat. I hope you don't mind.

"Look at them," Maria said, gesturing to where Clint, Steve, and Thor were chopping wood. "Can you believe they've turned it into a competition?"

Natasha smirked as she took a drag off her beer and kicked her feet up onto the porch railing. "Yes. I can't believe you thought they wouldn't."

Maria sighed and took a sip of her own drink. "I really should know better, shouldn't I? Oh, hello! What's happening now?"

Her tone immediately had Natasha sitting up straighter to follow her gaze across the yard. Steve had taken off his shirt and sweat glistened along his collarbones. His smooth chest showed off some impressive washboard abs.

Not to be outdone, Clint had also stripped off his shirt, revealing his amazing arms and shoulders. The set of his jeans was low on his hips and Natasha could see the barest hint of his hip bones jutting out, making her itch to pull the jeans even lower.

"We should probably put a stop to it, don't you think?" Natasha suggested, licking her lips.

Maria nodded. "Absolutely. It's our duty as good Americans."

"I'm Russian," Natasha reminded her automatically.

"Whatever. We owe it to… whoever… for whatever reason... to put a stop to this," Maria said, waving her hand dismissively, her eyes never leaving Steve.

"Let's go."

A short while later, Tony wandered out of the barn to find Thor alone outside, stacking wood.

"Where'd the the All American Hotdog and Legolas go?"

Thor grunted and hauled another log onto the pile. "Maria and Natasha had an emergency that demanded their attention."

Tony raised an eyebrow in surprise. "An emergency? And they left you here? They didn't think to maybe gather the whole team?"

Thor stopped and peered over at Tony, his eyes crinkling in amusement.

"It was not that kind of emergency," he said.

"Not… OH. Oh ho!" Tony said, finally catching on. "Why those randy little agents. I can't believe they hared off for a little afternoon delight. Didn't even bother thinking about the rest of us poor lonely suckers."

"Tony," Thor warned. "Do not begrudge them their pleasures."

"Begrudge? Nope. But envy… I can envy right?"

Thor peered up at the sun, which was no longer so high in the sky. "Jane and Pepper should be arriving shortly. Then we can partake of our own afternoon delights."

Tony slapped him on the shoulder. "I like the way you think. Meanwhile, how about a beer while we wait?"

Delightful, absolutely delightful!
