I need to write something not horribly traumatic one of these days. I'm so counting on this. (Also maybe short, too. You know. Like under 3k?)

I imagine we'll get a prompts of every flavor imaginable. I've got a whole stash of prompts I've been sitting on. (Eeep! So excited!)

And yes, definitely some short stuff. I'm going to try and dust off my drabble game if possible...

I kind of like having a little bit of a lag too, just for pondering and such. Of course, I also imagine we'll keep open the promptathon for at least a month or so, which should be plenty of time for epople to get their submissions in.

Not that you can't do longfic if the mood strikes (b/c hey, this is pretty much rules free as far as I'm concerned). We love longfic too. It's just damn exhausting to write.

I'm thinking let's keep the party going until (1) they do a theatrical release of the director's cut or (2) until the bluray comes out. It's win-win either way.

I literally just finished 17 600 words long fic. I want short stuff please. :D Short stuff will be amazing. I can have my brain back! (Maybe!)

Plus I'm hoping with the various mediums and long fic and short fic all mixed in together that we'll get a somewhat continuous influx of submissions. It's be awesome to keep it going for an entire month.

Somehow I have a feeling we won't run out of material all summer long. Not that I object, mind you. :) As for variety of prompts, I like pictures/artwork/photography/music as inspiration.... those are great prompts sometimes. I'm sooo looking forward to all of that!

Me too. I know there are folks already waiting with songs and such, and I was just thinking this morning about a painting I'd love to see used as a prompt. I swear, coming up with the prompts are going to be nearly as fun as the submissions! :D

I'm one of those folks with ton of songs and lyrics. (Oh and now I'm so intrigued about that painting!)

It's going to be awesome fun, all around!

(I'm going to try and bring some more paintings and sculptures and artwork to the table too!)

I have, like, ton of country songs, because Clint is definitely a quiet cowboy type, and lyrics just scream him, or Nat, or them together. (And then I'll have a perfect excuse to write something about each lyric or song I like for them.) :D
