I hadn't put the "only the Snapped get future films" together but you are totally right! Well, except for the "maybe they're making it, maybe they aren't" Black Widow movie. Fans are supposed to cry during this movie and it definitely sounds like they won't be tears of joy. Kleenex should make "movie-sized" packages with pictures of our favorite Marvel characters! A definite money-making scheme!

This trailer was too much!!!! I think there's definitely more to the umbrella scene as Clint seems to jump next to Natasha to be able to hold her hand that doesnt fit. I really want to believe they are bringing in Clintasha but didnt the Russo brothers release the Steve Natasha Winter solider kiss out of context just to get the fans interested.

They also let Scarlett Johansson wear the arrow necklace to show her character's "connection" to Hawkeye sooooo *shrug* who knows!

yes, but that was messed up by Whedon, not them... maybe this is where we find out that the family was one of the alternate realities the Doc saw, and everything got changed back to TWS times, where Clint was otherwise engaged?

my headcanon is that it's Thor. Thor is awesome at braiding. Asgardian women have really elaborate hairstyles, and so Asgardian men learn to braid hair early.

please let me officially register that I am 100% here for Natasha's red-blonde ombre hair. I did not like the blonde at all, so I'm ecstatic to see the red back.

Random thought: I wonder if it's going to end up being symbolic of going back to their roots and/or the old (Nat's red hair) and new (white hair) Avengers being split somehow (different realities???)

OK, so I just had a brain storm. Power Hank Pym's quantum realm entry thingy with the reality stone which Clint somehow steals (red glow, first trailer) and infiltrate (cool uniforms during the Hero Walk) reality from a different quantum point, fly through a whole lot of bits of past and alternate reality (Steve back in the recruitment poster, Clint and Cute Girl And Bow) and .... presto.

Second brainstorm. That scene with Clint and Nat? So the Restoration didn't QUITE work and he lost his family in that process (wait. what? I've written a fic about that idea ... :P) and what we see is the mid-credit scene where she comes and brings him home. Ouch.

But wait... we have hair that goes from short blond to longer blond to red with dipped tips. What if there's no time TRAVEL but simply the passage of time? What if things take place over YEARS? What if Clint does lose his family but in the years after he grows closer to Natasha in ways he hadn't been before?

(I'm a hopeless romantic and since I'm stuck with Whedon's mess, I'm trying to make the most of it. I don't want to discount the entire family.)

That's my read, as well and also the theory I was talking about in a different thread somewhere... the red -> white isn't a "style" so much as "they've been on the run for YEARS and there's no time for a dye or haircut" and thus the movie takes place over several years :o

The purple that seems to be the basis od the title poster could be a hint at the power stone being important??

Similarly does this raise questions about the victims of the tesseract weapons in capt. America first avenger. If its a door like Clint suggests were they memerly transported and not vaporised. If so the way they've died the disintergrating is very similar to what happens after the snap. If we run with the door idea are stones simply the keys to unlock the door to somewhere else???

Even if them being "together together" isn't endgame (no pun intended), still the parallel of Natasha pulling Clint back from the brink like he did with her-making a different call-is just going to get me in my Clintasha heart.


Also since it's been confirmed(?) that Archery Girl is Lila Barton, maybe Clint plotline has something to do with the Time/Reality Stone (w/e the green one is) where Clint stays Retired and is the dad he's always wanted to be; there for his kids and teaching them how to use a bow and arrow on the weekends.

I had this in the ATTF thread but then thought it might be better here so I moved it...

I saw Captain Marvel again tonight and I can't help but notice that Natasha in all the trailers looks SO MUCH YOUNGER than the blonde-haired Nat from Infinity War. When I first saw, Infinity War, I thought maybe SJ had somehow aged strangely and then I thought it was the blonde but she's been blonde IRL and never looked like this. But she's suddenly red or ombre and looks younger again. I think they're making her look old. Like a Reverse!CMFury.

Could we maybe be seeing an origin story for Clint and Natasha in another time stream? Because you can't hide that much ink so it's not likely an origin story in the time stream we think of as "ours".
