So looking at Twitter, did the Marvel fandom explode at SDCC this year? Lol. Hawkeye is confirmed to have Kate in it and that comics-esque logo makes me very excited! (And now that the multi-verse is confirmed this could be a comics adaption, right?! Or at least the vibe... *crosses fingers*.) For Black Widow my brain still can't accept it until i'm sat in the cinema and the opening credits pop up on the screen, ha. Soooo next May then?! :D

In other news it looks like the Loki TV show is Endgame escapee Loki, without all the character development post-Avengers, which could be.interesting; I am on board for Wanda being in Doctor Strange; Jane Foster Thor, wow; eventually a Captain Marvel 2 and Black Panther 2... so much shiny things!

Yeah, and actually I bet the plot will be how the government sends Taskmaster after Natasha, since he was part of the Thunderbirds Army in Civil War in the comics. It seems like this movie could be a backdoor for the Thunderbirds, and I love them, but I also wanted something more focused on Nat/Yelena. I'm not that hot on the new guys having big (?) parts. I would have LOVED a post-CW pre-IW Nat-centric movie on how/why she joins Steve's Secret Avengers.

....oh well I'm seeing it in the theatre anyway LOL. I'm sad at how many people are saying it's too late. Like fybw said, I am not going to turn down a birthday present because it didn't arrive on time!

I was watching Twitter when the Jane!Thor news went down in real time and that was EPIC.

I can actually see how they'd weave a pretty stellar Fraction inspired Hawkeye TV show with a post IW Hawkeye. And it would be pretty solid way to introduce the kind of Kate that would end up in Young Avengers after this Hawkeye retires for good. But I'm still over here resenting the hell out of the idea of Disney+.

But LBR, what got me was SHANG CHI and FEMALE THOR and BI VALKYRIE and BLACK PANTHER 2 and MAHERSHALA ALI OMG. :D

All of these announcements feel very fan servicey in the best way possible (srsly there had to be a session where they were like "How do we keep people past Endgame?") but omg I'm so excited for ALL OF THE THINGS.

But I gotta say, the only one that leaves me ho-humming in the way that Ant Man did (until I saw it) is The Eternals. Probably because I'd never heard of them. For that one, I'll wait until the reviews are in, rather than flock to the theatre at midnight for the first showing.

I'm also a little "hm?" about the Dr. Strange and Wanda movie, mostly because it seems like an odd combo? But I'm sure it will be good!

Well, in the comics Wanda can change reality. Which might come in handy in a multiverse scenario, and/or to change ... certain plot lines. Just saying.

LOL, Tessa going "a King looking for her Queen" and then Natalie walking out and TAIKA KNEELING TO PRESENT MJOLNIR TO HER, while Hemsworth beamed in the background. I was all "YOU DID THIS JUST FOR ME? HOW LOVELY!"

Honestly I think that was the best moment of the panel!!!!

LOVED IT. Altho it pretty much ties with Ali coming out with his Blade hat and going "I'M BLADE THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT."
