Assignments: Secret Santa Assignment emails have now all been sent! If you signed up but you haven't received an assignment email, first check your spam/junk folder for an email from compromised mods/be_compromised@hotmail.com and if you still can't find it please PM me.

If you have any questions, concerns, or would just like to share your excitement please comment to this post. Although remember that you need to keep your assignment a secret until the reveals at the end of the exchange! If you'd rather, you can chat to each other in private messages :)


Volunteers: If you missed out and would still like to get involved, or if you'd like to get even more involved, it takes a community to support an exchange...

+ Pinch Hitters: we’ll need pinch hitters from 8th December (potentially earlier). We will be automatically assigning pinch hitters to anyone who doesn’t submit their gift by the deadline of December 8th. We will let you know as soon as a pinch hit is needed, so either when the deadline has passed or earlier if people let us know in advance that they’re dropping out. If people then do manage to submit their gift by an agreed extension your pinch-hit would be assigned as a gift to the community as a whole, but no less appreciated! Deadlines for pinch hits are negotiable but ideally by December 16th.

+ Graphics Makers: if we get enough volunteers before December we hope to make banners for each gift. There’s usually about two weeks to make them in. (Also, if you fancy making any participation banners, icons, a masterlist banner etc. please feel free!)

+ Beta Reader To make things friendly and easy, if you’d like to offer your beta reading skills for someone’s Secret Santa fic please comment to this post saying BETA VOLUNTEER and a bit about your style and strengths as a beta reader. People taking part in the exchange can then PM you for a chat/get in contact. (Remember the exchange is anonymous!)

+ Cheeleaders: we LOVE comments, squee, joining in, getting excited, and all the other great stuff that makes this comm the place it is! You could team up with participants to encourage them along, get discussions going, post fanworks and recs to the comm to keep our spirits up, or just comment with positivity, whatever you like. It's all appreciated!
