I love everyone in this bar.

Promptathon: By the numbers.

Comments? 703 and counting.

Amount of insanely fantastic/gorgeous/thought-provoking/glorious prompts? In the hundreds.

Amount of shenanigans, chitchat, and ridiculously awesome people just being cool and hanging out? Beyond Measure.

If you haven't had a chance, come on over and join the fun. We're accepting prompts all week (and beyond) and the submissions start rolling in on Friday (and yes, there will be an epic party, so just go ahead and mark that one on your calendars right now.) Also, with so many prompts to keep track of, any ideas about how to best index these and make them easier to find and keep them from getting lost in the shuffle would be greatly appreciated (and we might need some volunteers on this front as well). ETA: Our own lar_laughs has volunteered to set up a Delicious archiving site HERE. It makes it much easier to look at/search the prompts--and she's tagging them too! Please be sure to shower her with thanks and love and baked goods! :D

If someone could come up with a way of organizing things, that would be great. Right now I've got about twelve of them on a "things to write" sticky note with links...probably not the most efficient method.

Maybe by regular ideas/song lyrics/poems/dictionary definitions? Art-specific, icon-specific, everything else (since I haven't seen vid-specific yet)?

Have you thought of using a delicious account maybe? That way you organize by however many tags (topic, filled, unfilled, links to fills etc)

What was that old fan trope/thingy where there's an imaginary bar where characters from all different fandoms go and talk? That kind of metaphorical bar. Where you can hang out with the Unseen University Librarian and eat bananas, no alcohol required :) Or, being us, get the latest pretty pictures and a Virgin Master Assassin with a side order of shawarma?

I'm going to see if I can sort something out tonight for organization, so look for a post for that. I hate when things are disorganized, and the amount of prompts so far warrants organization. I'm also willing to go back and organize the prompts that come in later.

Awww, thank you so much! See the ETA above. Lar's working on a Delicious archiving site as we speak. I think that should get us in a little better shape as far as searching and tagging goes. But I'm thinking we might still need volunteers, as we may want to do periodic update posts of fic that comes in (which we can do here), so we can definitely use some help on that.
