NOTES: It started with the prompt here: "The team tries to help keep them together, to piece them together, because sometimes two broken halves can make a single whole." Only, I'm not much of a "The Avengers Give Dating Advice" kind of writer, so it turned into a "Clint's headspace with mucho angst" story. This kind of thing happens when I write.

Although I really did want to have Maria tell Clint to get himself fixed or else to get himself fixed. And maybe someday Pepper will get to tell one of the other characters, "The trick to carrying on a relationship with an Avenger is not to carry on a relationship with an Avenger." Someday.


It's cold, but Clint's always cold these days.
