Let me say it again: We have 500 people watching this comm. And 442 members.

On May 6, 2012, when this bar was opened, we had 4 (and yes, those four consisted of your beloved mods who saw a little film called Avengers and had some feelings and just wanted a place to find some fic and geek out.)

So, in honor of this momentous occasion, I hereby declare it to be Friday one day early. Bring me your squee, your flail, your randomness, your Renner Problems, your Scarlett Feelings, your team!shawarma love, your pics, your gifs, your thinky thoughts, your what-the-heck-ever you like. Today is a day of jubilee, my friends.

I may or may not have spent a significant chunk of my day doing that.

Consistent is way better than boring. It's actually kind of reassuring to know that middle-aged ::koff:: me likes the same stuff that sprightly and svelte ::KOFF KOFF:: me liked.

Not too badly, actually! 37 was hard for me (it's dumb... 36 is almost 35, so that's okay...but 37 is almost 40 so I had to freak out. Bright side is, now that I'm 39 I'm over it and can just sit back and enjoy it.)

ETA: Happy birthday next month! Would you believe that I grew up in Idaho? I lived in Fruitland (west of Boise, on the Oregon border). My parents moved to Tennessee when I was about 8.

ANYWAY, hello! We seem to have a lot in common and I think that's pretty damn awesome.

I totally know where Fruitland is! I'm up near Sun Valley, in the middle of the southern part of the state. You don't run into many people that can even find Idaho on a map, let alone have lived there!

I had a "ten year crisis" at 31 so I'm wondering if I'll have one at 41 or if I'm good for awhile. *grins* 39 sounds like a good age to be. Divisible by 3s. Looks interesting when it's written out. Isn't 40.

When I saw that you were friends with my Brithday Twin and first fandom friend EVER ([livejournal.com profile] coffee_n_cocoa), I got all excited! How much do I love that this fandom has so much cross-pollination from so many other epic fandoms that I still love!
