LOL! That was me back in my X-Files days...and then Stargate...

My family probably thought I was nuts, but they never said it to my face. LOL! :-D

...have you ever watched the film Elizabeth town? There are two characters that start talking on the phone and then they just don't stop. They go the bathroom, pack, eat, go about their evening talking away, talking into the night, and then one of them sayss something like, 'you know, we might as well meet up' so they get ready, drive to meet each other, pull over and hang up just as the sun rises on a beautiful day...and then they're silent. And one says, 'we peaked on the phone.'

I just had this image of us all chatting away with each online and then planning this huge get together and we all show up, watch the Avengers in silence about from excited noises, and then at the end of the film we turn to each other...and already know everything we would all say about the film anyway. And would be all, 'okay, so, cake?' Heh.

But no, someone mentioned on the party post that we should have some kind of group watch and party time for the film release and we should. We can celebrate online :)

Dragon Age ruled over so much of my life for a while.

And Fenris! *swoon* His voice and the angst from that man were of epic levels.

Sad to say, it still rules a huge portion of mine.*sigh*

I should probably warn you that Elizabeth Town starts with the protagonist being suicidal, but having his suicide attempt interupted by having to be a family representative and travel to where his dad's family live to arrange his dad's memorial service because his dad has just died. It has it's light moments and parts of it amuse me greatly, but there's also some black humour and lots of feels. Just so you don't think i've recced you a romcom of hilarity ;)

Honestly, probably suits me more than a romcom of hilarity. I tend to like things with a much darker tone to them than just pure fluff.
