Summary: Clint's life is just one circus after another.
Disclaimer: If I was making money off this I would be much happier. As it is, I'm not, I'm just secretly living in the attic of the house Marvel built.
Notes: Eeep! I'm nervous, guys! This is my first Clint/Natasha fic so bring on the concrit. I'm not terribly present (Damn life!) but I love everyone in this bar. I also, love that this is a saying. Also, mods, if I missed a tag or three, let me know.

Anyway, to the fic: He woke for real, finally rested, finally clear-headed, to a dark room and her elbow in his ribs and a leg thrown over his thigh, and he thought: Well, fuck it... oh no you don't. That's not until the end.

I thought this was excellent. I loved this take on their first meeting and the focus on Clint throughout. I love that he can't help but save people. :) I thought the charaterizations were well done too-- Clint was bantery and playful without seeming weak/needy, Natasha was more reserved but not to the point of being withholding/emotionally shut down. There was a good partnership/friendship vibe in all this, very balanced, which is how I like my assassins. And also some genuine LOL funny banter moments. I love dialogue; it's probably my very favorite thing and you did a great job with that.

All in all, I loved it. Thank you for sharing! :D

Squail! Thank you. Oh, that's so nice to hear - I try really hard to keep characters in character, so it's nice when other people think I've succeeded. :) Natasha is really hard to figure out.

I looooove dialogue, too. Love it like burning!
