Scarlett Johansson Confirmed for Captain America: The Winter Soldier!  

Just in from Variety's Jeff Sneider (@TheInSneider): "FYI, Scarlett Johanson's [sic] Black Widow is CONFIRMED to appear in CAPTAIN AMERICA 2: THE WINTER SOLDIER." (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Not much else to report just yet as the news is pretty fresh, but here's what Miss [livejournal.com profile] workerbee73 and I have found so far:

Fair enough! Yeah, Marvel does need to confirm it. They're usually the last to do so, though, so it could still be a while. But Variety and Deadline tend to be pretty solid sources, so I'm feeling good about it.

Agreed, wish we could get that Black Widow or SHIELD movie, but Hulk has been pushed back 'til after Avengers 2 too, so not sure when that could happen. Boo.
