Thank you! (Suppresses a satisfied sigh because, you know, this isn't a squee kind of story.) I'm having fun -- and the occasional moment of catharsis -- writing it. I hope it will all make sense as a character study (and a bit of a study of what I think SHIELD is) when the last piece falls into place.
