Warnings: language, some violence; major cynicism alert. (as in, if you think that all politicians are selfless public servants and all around wonderful people, don't read this)
Summary:
Based on the intriguing line Loki utters during the interrogation scene: “You lie and you kill in the service of liars and killers. You pretend to be separate, to have your own code, something that makes up for the horrors. But they are a part of you, and they will never go away …” Character piece that follows Clint through three missions (plus one) and explores what makes him tick in his profession.
I've posted about this before, but have no idea how to add chapters, so bear with me! Maybe by the time I post Chapter 4 I'll figure it our, but I'm frankly not optimistic. I think the sad truth is that I'm too old for this internet shit. So here are the URLs for the new chapter:
