SHARE: I spent 4 of the last 12 days in airplanes (22 hour trips, including HOURS of layovers) so had time to read, write and cruise the web for all things fannish. I re-read Bob & Bee's stupendous series AND discovered that Jeremy Renner CAN SING (I want the New York State of Mind ringtone, so may have to buy an iPhone). Plus, a friend gave me a Hawkeye action figure for my mantle piece. My life is complete (or will be, once I get over the jetlag).

The discovery of Jeremy Renner's singing was what tipped me over the edge. Seriously, I need an album or... I dunno. A Jeremy Renner filled smoky bar somewhere.

Share: I've been reading Fanfiction for ages but it took me watching Avengers the second time when it came out on DVD to jump on this particular ship. And boy oh boy did I jump. Head first. Without checking what might be lurking underwater. Blackeye (my moniker of choice) fics are the only thing I've read for the past couple of months (I've completely abandoned my other ships). In fact, I spent three days this week, lying on the couch with a flu and during those three days, all I did was read Blackeye fics. That and watched the Unusuals in it's entirety one day and the Avengers. That one twice. I'm hooked. I've been lurking here for a while now and only recently plucked up the courage to comment.

Care: Alphaflyer is someone whose name I've seen in comments so I definitely know they are aboard the good ship Blackeye so here's a big hello from somewhere where the sun don't shine (literally. We're hurtling towards the darkest time of the year.).

Yep, I'm doing the occasional Clint/Natasha thing (two so far, albeit one rather Clint-centric). I haven't a clue how to post stories on my LJ page so you'll have to hunt them down on AO3 or FFN ... ;-)

Share: My Hallowe'en costume was a feminized version of Hawkeye. I changed the vest into a corset. And my youngest had a bow 'just lying around so of course you can use it for your costume mom' (this passes for normal conversation in my incredibly fannish household). I love it. I've also got 4 or 5 WIPs going and a brainstorm that hit me last Saturday I just need time to write, but I have Monday off!

Share: So there's this (currently) 59 chapter WIP on AO3 called The Unusual Avengers Legacy Protocol (http://archiveofourown.org/works/498313), which is seriously "the fic that everyone must read NOW". It puts forth the idea that all of Jeremy Renner's characters are brothers. And the author updates every morning. As in EVERY. MORNING. Like, I've never seen anything like it. And then this week? She updated twice in one day. And these are 1,500-2000 word chapters we're talking about. She makes it totally believable that these guys are brothers (there's evil Army cloning involved), each has a unique personality, and the romances are awesome. For the purposes of this comm, Natasha isn't ultimately shipped with Clint, but she does end up with a Renner character, so it's all good.

CARE: Wait, I get lar_laughs?! Are you kidding?! One of the BAMF of this comm and 'ship? Whose writing I adore and stalk, and whose comments are glorious and delightful? Why, whatever will I say about her? Hmmm... :D Oh, and she wrote one of my favorite Olympic-themed fics EVAH. (Check it out here (http://archiveofourown.org/works/477188).) Seriously, folks, if you don't know her, get to! :D

Share: I found this video a couple weeks ago and I constantly use it when I need a little pick me up. It features the entire cast, with a decent amount of Scarlett and Jeremy.
