Dearest bar, believe it or not (we hardly can), [livejournal.com profile] be_compromised is a year old this month! This calls for an anniversary/birthday (annibirthday!) celebration, don't you think? And what better way to keep the party going than with a friending meme to meet more awesome Clint/Natasha shippers you can squee with in the party post?!

*flaily hands*

Oh, man, I love Australia. Best country. I spent a month there when I was thirteen and it was amazing. (I live in Washington State in the US.)

Where did you stay in Australia? I'm in Sydney. :)

I've never been to Washington State, it's on my list of "states to visit when I finally have the time and money to do that epic road trip across America that I've been planning since I was 14."

(nice Kate icon, by the way. Friends?)

Victoria. I spent a little time in Melbourne but for most of it my mother and I were staying up at family friend's sheep farm, doing a car camping trip around the Snow Mountains, and we also spent a week camping on the Coast. I have one or two epic spider stories from that trip.

Washington State is pretty awesome, but we're rather far away from the actually kitchy-cool roadside attractions of the Midwest. (I also want to do an American road trip.)

(nice Kate icon, by the way.

Thank you! I was looking for a Kate icon for forever before I found this one.

Oooh, Snowy Mountains, awesome. I used to go for week long horse riding treks there when I was a kid.

Ahahaha, welcome to Australia. ;) Epic spider stories are inescapable. I grew up feeding horses every morning, and there were two redback spiders living in the far corner of my feed bin for a few weeks. I called them Josephine and Daphne.

That's both cute and horrifying.
