OMG, I just got into Carol/Daryl and I swear it is sucking up my life. I mean I liked them as characters for the entire show, but recently just started shipping them hardcore. My dad also ships them, I laugh at him and his obsession with those two getting together.

The snark, the banter, the equality of the partnership and the absolute and implicit trust that seems to exist between them. Oh, and -- CHEMISTRY!!!

Any other ships/fandoms?:

Not really within the Marvel universe, although I will read Clint/Darcy and the VERY OCCASIONAL Clint/Coulson, but stop way short of shipping. I have written extensively for Star Trek: Voyager, mostly focusing on Tom Paris and his canonical relationship with B'Elanna Torres (I don't really ship them, I just have them in my stories because) and his interesting relationship (saviour/mentor/friend) with Captain Janeway.

I love ATTF, especially when people disagree politely and respectfully, with good arguments -- it's SO refreshing in an internet community!!! -- and when the technologically savvy among us pour on the picspam. How did you find be_compromised?: I kept reading a bunch of the promptathon fics on AO3 and seeing the name, so I randomly followed it back to LJ.

What do you like best about the C/N ship?: Super-competent people are my favorite, and if we're going for complete honesty...Natasha. Natasha is what I like best about Clint and Natasha, though Clint's pretty neat.

Any other ships/fandoms?: In Avengers,, I pretty much ship canon, except for Steve/Maria. Other fandoms...Chuck/Sarah in Chuck, Arrow is Felicity/Oliver, Emma/Regina and Aurora/Mulan in OUaT. I used to write Matthew/Mary fic for Downton Abbey but I grew to hate Matthew, so now I anti-ship them pretty hard.

What do you like best about the C/N ship?: I love that they aren't a cliché couple and that there are so many different scenarios that they can get into. You can write domestic fluff, some drama, or action with them! So many possibilities!!!!!!

What are some of your real-life interests/hobbies? I am in my Junior year at Regent University, working towards my degree in Creative Writing. I hope to write professionally after I graudate. Other than writing, I love art and crafts, drama, and basically anything that uses my imagination. I am a Christian, and I try to let show in everything I do. I definitely don't always succeed, but my faith is the most important thing in my life.

How did you find be_compromised?: Googled LJ + Clint and Natasha. I trudged through FF.net and wanted to find more and better fics. And I did.


What do you like best about the C/N ship?: I have no idea what made me fall so hard. I guess they're just generally kick ass and I like the opportunity for a lot of repressed emotions (that's how I roll) and for hidden workplace romance


Any other ships/fandoms?: I started with Harry/Ginny and still occasionally read fics about them. I have a soft spot for Rachel/Puck from Glee and Donna/Josh from the West Wing. And also Apollo/Starbuck because they're just so bloody emotionally stunted and lovely.

How did you find be_compromised?: Whenever I join any fandom I go looking for a shipper community because they always have the best updates and fun times. So stumbled across this community after seeing The Avengers for the billionth time.


What do you like best about the C/N ship?: I like that there is flexibility with the characters, allowing for creativity. Also trust. It seems like a common theme in a lot of the stories and I love exploring that concept.


Any other ships/fandoms?: Ummm, so many. My actual fandoms and ships include Harry Potter (originally Harry/Hermione although I'm now all about Hermione/Draco), Twilight (Jasper/Bella for reasons I can't explain), The Hunger Games, The Host, Community (Jeff/Annie, although this one has cooled a little as that community has gone crazy), Parks and Rec (Ben/Leslie), BSG (Lee/Kara), The Vampire Diaries (Klaus/Caroline currently), True Blood (Eric and anybody who gets him naked), Fringe (Lincoln and somebody who will make him happy, usually Red!Olivia), Haven (Audrey/Nathan), The Unusuals (Casey/Jason), Grey's Anatomy (Cristina/Owen, please don't judge), Smash (Derek/Karen), Tin Man (Cain/DG). I'm finishing up my Master's right now in History, which is subject I love and love to discuss with people. I am writing my thesis about Irish history so that's a particular obsession. I watch an insane amount of tv and movies, I love pop culture (I think to balance my academic side). I write. I love reading, especially YA and comics. My first degree was in education and I want to be a history teacher.

Ruby on OuaT is awesome and I'm sad/happy that Meghan Ory got a pilot so she's leaving the show.

I have a complicated relationship with that show because they have so many awesome "secondary" characters (Granny, Hook, August, the dwarves) that they've pushed aside for every single episode to star Snow, Emma, Charming, etc. I get that they're the "main" cast but give a little more screen time to the others! One episode I would like but know we'll never get is an episode where all the secondary characters complain at how all the main characters just mess things up even more when they try to "help."

What do you like best about the C/N ship?: There is just such an ease and comfort with each other. They can hold whole conversations with each other without saying a word. And they are not the type to be all goofy and sappy. I hate that.
