Monthly Comics Discussion Post: February. Ish.  
Whoops! Last month got derailed by preparation for the Valentine's Promptathon (AND IT WAS AWESOME), and the end of February coincided with some Stuff in my life so this post slipped my mind until now. Never mind, that means we get two discussion posts this month!

February was a big month for Clint and Natasha. Black Widow #3 was released and we finally got another Clint-centric issue of Hawkeye. Elsewhere, Shit Went Down in Secret Avengers. In further comics news, February also saw the release of Ms Marvel #1 and She-Hulk #1, to great critical and fan acclaim.

March is another big month in comics, with Black Widow #4 being released later in the month and Secret Avengers being relaunched next week I believe. The previews for Secret Avengers #1 show Clint crashing Natasha and Jessica Drew's spa day.

Is Black Widow released next week? I thought it wasn't released until later this month! That's awesome, we get it earlier. *bounces* The unlettered preview looks gorgeous, I think Phil Noto's art gets better each issue.

That cliffhanger in Hawkeye #15 was... GAAAAAAAAAH. It was a great issue, Aja's art has never been better and it was great to see Natasha, Bobbi and Jessica make guest appearances. The one quibble I had was Natasha's dialogue, it seemed oddly 'stereotypical comic book foreigner,' which is weird because she's hardly ever written like that (and why would she be? She's an international spy!). :/

Fantastic! That's going to a great day for comics.

I'm looking forward to the new Secret Avengers, but I wish Bobbi was still a member of the team. :(

Guess I'll have to call my comics shop and ask them to keep copies for me ... Last time I was too late for BW #3. IT SOLD OUT!! Which is a Good Thing, except at the time it really wasn't...

Oh, a friend of mine made me a Marvel box. I now have a box to keep my comics in. My husband is still shaking his head.

I'm with you on the accent thing in #15. That was a bit ... odd. Especially as I don't recall her having that the last time she appeared in Hawkeye?

You guys almost make me want to buy a Loki comic. Is it worth it?

I think the new Loki comic is worth it. Loki's narration is pretty funny (I could TOTALLY hear Tom Hiddleston narrating), and the set up for the rest of the storyline within the first issue was really interesting. The art is also pretty to look at. =)
