be_compromised will no longer be a spoiler free zone for Age of Ultron. We have plans for fun things and monitoring spoiler cuts all over the place will be too messy. Apologies to people who have yet to see the film and we hope you get to see it soon!
On that note, in light of Age of Ultron here’s how we see our community moving forward:
As per the sticky post at the top and as per our profile page, we are and always will be a community for fans of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, individually as well as paired together as friends, partners, lovers, or spouses. What that means following Age of Ultron is that we will happily take all the denial fic and AUs where Clint/Natasha is a thing and all the canon-compliant fic where Clint & Natasha is a thing, and basically, as always, we will take and discuss anything that has a focus on Natasha and/or Clint.
Which means we’re also interested in the new dynamic with Laura, whether that’s Clint/Natasha/Laura or Clint/Laura with Auntie Natasha, or even Clint/Laura with a strong focus on Clint or, yes, even Natasha/Bruce with the focus on Natasha. Or just Clint or just Natasha, or any other pairing combinations or platonic combinations you like. Go wild! As long as there’s a focus on Clint and/or Natasha :)
One of our community rules is that character bashing and ship wars are assassinable offences. We love difference in opinion and discussing all the things, but we also want to keep this bar a positive fandom space. Please keep in mind that we are about the love.
So, we’re going to be exploring the new dynamics following the Age of Ultron reveal! Watch this space!
In the meantime we have shiny, new community tags for fanworks:
fanwork: age of ultron for all your works dealing with this
fanwork: aou divergent for all your works pretending these events never happened – be that everyone still lives in the Tower, killer bots never happened, or farm what farm
fanwork: on the farm for all your farming requirements
fanwork: polyamory for Clint/Natasha/Laura, Clint/Natasha/Laura/Bruce, Clint/Natasha/Bucky…any and all combinations your muse can come up with
fanwork: platonic for when the existing ‘fanwork: partners/buddycops’ just isn’t enough for the depth of best friend Clint & Natasha feelings
Remember, we do already have a whole bunch of other tags in the guide to tags and tagging for the completely AU, for team fic, and a whole heap of others. Don’t see a fanwork tag for what you need? Just let us know!
