Mainly MCU although I have read a few of the comics as well.
Which upcoming Marvel films are you looking forward to and what are you hoping to see in them?
Captain America: Civil War, because the trailer looked very promising.

After Age of Ultron are you camping out at the farm, by that river in Egypt, in a world of AUs anyway, or another camp all together?
I love to travel from one place to another, even though I have to admit that I prefer warm sunny places (e.g. that river in Egypt).
What things do you love to see in fics/creative works, what’re a few of your favourite things?
I’m a sucker for drama, angst, hurt/comfort and so on, but I do enjoy lighter friendship and team bonding fics as well.

You're on the creative team for a new Marvel comic or film, featuring whoever you like and about whatever you like. What does the film poster or the comic cover look like?
Well, if I would be in charge, it would be the epic Black Widow movie that we are all waiting for and the film poster would show Natasha looking badass and somewhere in the background would be Clint and maybe Cap who could be Nat’s sidekicks in the movie.

Star Wars, The 100, Agents of Shield, Firefly, Pacific Rim, The Musketeers, The Last Ship, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica and many, many more.

What should a new friend know about you/your LJ and/or what are you looking for in an LJ/online friend?
My LJ is a mix of RL stuff and fandom and most posts are f-locked. I’m not as active on LJ anymore as I used to be, but I’m trying to post and comment whenever I can and feel that I’ve got something relevant to say. Of course, this is a lot easier if you have something in common, so some shared interests would be nice if you want to friend me. I would also appreciate it, if you could leave any drama by the door so to speak.

I love that most of the movie poster ideas involve a Black Widow movie :) and I like that you included Cap as a possible sidekick. I'd always thought about a movie centering on younger Natasha with her evolution from the Red Room to Shield agent but I like the thought of a movie taking place later in the MCU timeline.

Yes, indeed. ^^ It just proves that great minds think alike. ;)

A movie about her evolution from the Red Room to Shield agent would be great as well. I really enjoyed the flashbacks in AoU and I liked the scenes where Clint kinda starts to mentor Wanda. So seeing him do the same with Nat would be awesome. Not to mention all the hurt/comfort potential. :D

However, when I answered that question I thought about how she tends to be the sidekick for the boys in the MCU, for example, in Winter Soldier and while I'm glad that she gets screen time in those movies as well, because I simply love Black Widow, I think that she is an awesome female character and for once I would like to see her in the lead with the male heroes reduced to sidekicks/potential love interests.

Though come to think of it, why not make it a trilogy, starting with Black Widows evolution and ending with a movie where she singlehandedly saves the world (with a little assistance from Clint and Cap). ;)

Unfortunately, their target audience for Marvel/Star Wars mostly seems to be male and they also seem to have this whole outdated thinking going on a la “Which boy would like to buy merchandise with a female character on it?”. So I doubt we’ll ever get a Black Widow movie, but a girl can dream.

That "target audience" thing is so, so wrong ... Figures show that about half the Marvel movie goers are female, and still they target only the boys... :-(

Also, friends?

Yes, it is. But somehow they seem to think that girls should only be into their Disney princess stuff for some reason. Let’s just hope that they learn from the Star Wars merchandise debacle.

And yes to friending. Although, you might want to reconsider that, because I will most likely pester you about continuing you Avengers/Star Trek Voyager AU. It was just so perfect and I still love Voyager. It was my first fandom ever.

Side note: On the Star Wars front, after the talk of Rey being excluded because of spoilers - even though she's a main character and on all the posters - turned to someone reporting on the merchandise meetings that the decisions made ended up being around 'boys don't want girls in their toys', thankfully they seem to be starting to get the picture that they're doing things wrong. And missing out on a hell of a lot more money. So I like to hope things are getting better :)

Well, maybe we get some decent MCU Black Widow merchandise next. *keeps fingers crossed*
