ATTF: Where's Clint?  
So. The new Infinity War trailer is out:



And still no sign of Clint...

We know he's in the movie - Renner posted from the set. Let's be benevolent and assume he's not the subject of deliberate marketing neglect, but rather of spoiler concerns by the film makers. Who have said this:

 

JOE RUSSO: Coming out of Civil War, he’s in the same position that Cap and Falcon are at the end of that movie. And Ant-Man. And coming into this movie you know … the characters on Cap’s side coming out of the Civil War, some made certain decisions and others made other decisions that led to different paths in them dealing with oversight in this movie in a different way. So Hawkeye’s on his own journey in this movie.

ANTHONY RUSSO: Yeah. He has a unique reaction to the civil war situation that puts him in a special spot in this film.

 

I don't know about you guys, but from where I sit, this situation - whether you've clicked on the Russo comment or not - simply cries out for sage theories, meta, wild speculation, fic ...

So let's have it!!! We have until April 27 ... (26th here in the Netherlands, and dammit I'm going to the first available showing, with hubby and kidlet in tow.)

Three, two, one - GO!

Things to remember:
1) Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2) Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and warnings (or you can say that you’ve chosen not to use warnings).
3) For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.
4) Have a damn good time! (Because if that’s not happening then this post has clearly failed.)

I loved "nor need we power or splendor" by shellybelle, which is a huge monster full of fluff, hard decisions and love. You can find it in AO3! (Or by checking my bookmarks - I'm crystallitanie over there too.)
I rarely download, if anything because I do most of my reading in bed at night, so mobile devices are the only way to go...
