It is kind of cheating, so say a brown that's a similar size to a bronze, that being unusual, could fly a gold. Kind of like Steve being human but extra human with the serum. I get with basic biology a brown would have to be large enough to fly a gold, sure, but not necessarily out of the unsual size range for browns, because we've never been given exact size ranges anyway and the average brown might not be that much smaller than a bronze. Anyway, I mean to say: I like that it's talent that allows Teneth to fly Kaneth, much like Clint's talent with a bow allows him to join a team of superheroes. Nothing added or unsual, other than making the most of that talent, the tactics and the flight ability.

Natasha and emotions is an interesting mine field :) And I too am a sucker for tactical Clint. (I have this theory that he's a tactician, but Natasha has him beat on strategy - that he sees at the small details, which allows him to root for someone he's meant to be taking out, like Natasha and Thor, whilst Natasha sees the long view and the bigger picture and will take people out if it's necessary, regardless of the details. He does the immediacy and situational, she does the overall plotting.)

I hadn't thought of it either, but then I read your fic and I was all of course she knows what intimacy is now, she's been introduced to it and lived with it for a few years with her dragon, and it's an absolute certainty at the hatching, isn't it, when a dragon choses someone? Like you showed in the fic - an instant 'mine' connection. She knows this kind of trust and love and certainty in that, in a way that the non-AU Natasha that we know (possibly) never will.
