Okay, here goes:

Clint and Natasha meet Barney, Clint's brother. It can either be a meeting the family type deal or a Clint and Natasha on a mission and find out Barney is one of the villains. How does Barney react if/when he finds out Clint/Natasha/both (depending on your head canon) originally opposed the Avengers?

Feel free to use as much or as little of the additional information that you want, if it doesn't fit with what you'd like to write. :)

Not going to lie, I totally missed the "Clint's brother" at first, so I thought the prompt was about Barney Stinson with Clint and Natasha having to stop Dr. Horrible his evil alter-ego. :(

Clint sets Natasha to chopping produce, since he knows she’s comfortable with a knife in her hand, and he watches in morbid fascination as she takes out her frustrations on the carrots, onions and celery.

He dices the still-steaming chicken and guides her through the spice cabinet. “Thyme.” “Basil.” “Bay leaves.” She does all the measuring, turning to him for confirmation before dumping it into the pot.

“This is stupid,” she says, and he says, “This is what people do, Tash,” and she says “People are stupid,” and he silently agrees.

They bring Tony chicken soup anyway. And more Kleenex.

Clint has no idea how to tell Natasha he likes her, so he asks the other Avengers (and other related characters, possibly including Natasha herself as you see fit) for advice. Amusement ensues, followed by eventual resolution.

This is the kind of prompt that makes me want to give all my love to both you and whoever ends up doing something for it. Because wherever this goes (sexy, kinky, trust, just doing really cool stuff with knives), I cannot imagine it not being amazing.

Clint realizes Natasha has never really had a childhood/adolescence, and decides to give her all the experiences she missed out on, like going to the zoo and having slumber parties and making out in the back seat of a car.

OH GOD I MUST WRITE THIS.

Maria Hill doesn't let emotions get in the way. She never read romance novels, doesn't believe in love and has never met someone she cared more about than her job. That said, Clint and Natasha are just so freaking cute together.

I'd like a fic of Clint and Natasha's relationship from Maria Hill's point of view. She spends so much of the Avengers quietly observing the action and it would be enlightening to get her thoughts. Can be serious, can be crackfic with Maria as matchmaker.

I love this, I love any 3rd POV fic like this, but Maria Hill is a stroke of genius. :D

I love the idea of Jeremy Renner's previous roles (your choice, but especially MI4) being undercover assignments for Clint. I want the during/in between assignment moments between him and Natasha, whether she's helping him stay focused or just acting as a post-mission sounding board. Excuse to rewatch his stuff "for research purposes."

Okay, there's going to have to be a bit of follow the bouncing ball going on here. I wrote a fic which encompasses all twelve of these espionage terms. Clint looks up from his food as another agent sits down across from him.

“Dobbes,” he says with a nod.

“Barton,” he responds. He looks to Clint’s left and right, seeming to search for someone. “Where’s your recruit?”

“Not here,” he takes a bite of his slightly disgusting sandwich. He hadn’t been kidding Natasha when he’d told her the food was substandard here. He’d been slightly impressed that she’d eaten the food without complaint, considering the number of high class missions he’d read in her file.

Natasha had finished her food and had left to go to a debriefing with Fury, and to fill out the paperwork required to become an official agent of SHIELD. She had also told Clint she was being requested to have an official medical examination, to make sure she was fit for duty, and that there wasn’t anything hiding in her body that would come back to bite them in the ass later.

“Good,” Dobbes leans forward, “because I’m slightly concerned about her, and you.”

“Why?”

“She’s deadly like fire. I don’t want to see you burned. How do you know she’s not going to kill you in your bed?”

“I just do.”

Dobbes snorts.
