Joss is back!
To write and direct Avengers 2. Not a big surprise, but they just made it official. Per MTV.com, he's also going to be developing a  TV show for ABC set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and so far the wild speculation is as follows:

The exact specifics of that show — title, focus, cast of characters — are entirely under wraps, though it's been said that it could be "a high-concept cop show," leading many to believe that it's a S.H.I.E.L.D. focused television series.

Eeeenteresting, no? While this is to be taken with a grain of salt for now, it still opens up all kinds of spec.

What think y'all? Got any more news to share?

It would be great to see Marvel tell a story that isn't all about the white dudes! Black Panther, Wasp and Ms Marvel all have potential.

So excited! I want She-Hulk to show up, 'cause she's my favorite (other than Natasha of course :)).

Getting 3-dimensional female characters in my explodey action movies *dances*

YES TO MARVEL TELLING STORIES THAT AREN'T ABOUT WHITE DUDES.

I'd like She-Hulk to turn up as well.

Don't let me down, Joss!

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda terrified they'll ruin Natasha in Captain America 2. Yeah, Bucky's cool and all, but I really don't want her to be reduced to 'Winter Soldier's (ex)Girlfriend,' or 'Hawkeye's Girlfriend.' And I REALLY don't want a love triangle, it's such a cheap way to create drama.

Do we know for sure that either of them are signed onto Cap2 yet? I haven't heard anything confirmed.

And yes to the triangle nonsense (although narratively speaking, it's the easiest cheap-sure-thing route to go and that makes me nervous).

Oy. Geometric equations in my shipping is strongly frowned against.

I could not agree more with wanting Natasha to be more than someone's girlfriend. Any emotion/angst that comes up for her can come from 100 other angles. It would be a disservice to the character if they make her into a "oh no what man do I choose and who do I really love?" kind of woman.

I don't know much about the actual Winter Soldier storyline but I would rather Nat acknowledge that Bucky was her past and that he was good for/to her then but that she's moved on to a new phase where she's left behind those ties to her former life. I don't even mean in regard to Clint but her personally. I just want her to character to continue to be a strong woman who has changed her life on her own terms with no one pulling her heart or mind strings.
