ALL THE THINGS FRIDAY.  
Time for a good, old-fashioned hoedown of spammage and silliness and REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF.

So much various and sundry it almost won't fit under a cut....WARNINGS FOR HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC EVERYTHING. (this is why I should not be allowed to eat carbs. you give me a bagel in the morning and i get delusions of grandeur. going back to green things and protein shakes, stat.)

We have dozens upon dozens of incredible fics and fanworks and I keep adding more every day. I'm still working on getting caught up myself. We've got such amazing authors in this fandom, y'all. Grab a tasty beverage this weekend, curl up on the couch and spend some time enjoying all this good writing. And if you find something you like, leave a little love for the author (I hear they like that sort of thing). Also remember that the Promptathon is staying open through August 31st, so keep on bringing the awesomeness to the table!!!

Still working through my Bourne Legacy feels (and there are many). I'm guessing I'm not the only one. Are our non-US peeps starting to see the film as well? Reactions?

[livejournal.com profile] bob5fic, I just want you to know that I watched Dahmer last night FOR YOU. And the hair was atrocious but I powered through. And wow yes, disturbing as hell but incredibly acted. I was having flashes of Gary Oldman in full-on chameleon mode. Seriously impressed.
(BUT THE HAIR WAS AWFUL.)

Now I have to see Dahmer, don't I? Damn. My life is so hard. ;)

It's been a stressful week, so I dealt with that by...going to watch Jeremy Renner be beautiful in Bourne Legacy again last night. It was a great choice, no matter what a therapist would say. I am so in love with the IQ thing I can't even tell you. How does Renner make the weirdest things so fascinating? IDEK. Also: the beard. The hand porn. It was all amazing and I never wanted it to end.

It's not for the faint of heart but an incredible performance nonetheless. I forgot I was watching Renner, that's how engrossing it was (hence the Gary Oldman comparison.)

Dude. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. You are not alone in these feels. (i saw it a second time too. FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELS.) You have also ruined me on the beard. I need to tumblr spam you on that count b/c I've been collecting stuff. Film at 11. (and srsly, we better get ALL THE SEQUELS.)

OK, serious Aaron Cross beard question. It doesn't look like Jeremy is capable of growing anything more than a mustache and goatee. SRSLY. I haven't seen hair anywhere but his chinny chin chin. The man has baby smooth cheeks. Even his "I'm sporting stubble" photos are just the upper lip and chin.

I'm not imagining this, am I?

So that beard? Must be courtesy of the makeup department. And it stayed on in the water! *claps for his makeup team*

I actually have to disagree on this. He always looks very scruffy around the chin and mouth, so much so that it looks like he has trouble staying clean-shaven. So I think the beard is quite plausible. Plus, if dude does his own stunts I'm also thinking he's going to do his own beard. :P

What I'm not seeing is any shots of him growing his own hair on his cheeks. I doubt he could provide muttonchops for a period movie.

The 'stache and goatee? Yeah, he can grow those. But I never see him with any stubble or beard on the sides of his face.

Maybe I am just imagining it. *wanders off in search of a rubber room*

I don't know if Jeremy can or can't grow a beard, but for the movie it was indeed fake.

No idea, but I've been having trouble with comments going though tonight, so I dunno if that has something to do with it. Sometimes having a link in the comment can trip the spam filter but then again sometimes it won't. Often there's no rhyme or reason that I've been able to figure out... :/

I have been holding back on watching Dahmer too. I've been hesitant because so many people say they've been creeped out. I don't want our bb to be creepy! Also, as Bee mentions...that hair!

The IQ thing, the beard, the hand porn...TBL is amazing on about 400 fronts. I want so much more of his backstory/life pre Outcome!
